Just some observations

but look at the teams that have done consistently well over the past few years. Mavericks, Suns, Spurs, Pistons... they are deep and play well together. Remember when the Pistons beat the Lakers and everybody talked about how they were the "ultimate team" b/c they didn't have one dominant player or star etc. etc. I think we all need to stop calling for wholesale changes and just let the team gel. Hell I would be game for bringing back everyone who actually played and just replace/trade/waive/buyout all the scrubs who rode the pine and replace them with some quality role players who fit in with our style of play. We have about seven quality  NBA players on our team we just need a few more. I want to watch these guys come together next year and play full strength. Stop asking for trades of our new core so that we can get a "dominant big man" - shit we have been begging for a dominant point guard ever since Hardaway left.

The Warriors are not going to win the Championship every year - but wouldn't it be nice if they were good every year and at least had a chance?

BTW am I the only one who finds it ironic that the whole Nelson/Webber debacle in the 90's was b/c C-Webb didn't want to play the 5. Well look what he's willing to do now in order to win.

Yes
I agree.  The DEEPEST teams are the teams that win in this league.  We shouldn't be thinking about trading all our players away just to have a couple superstars, winning teams aren't build that way.  I think we just need strengthen our bench and we'll do alot better next year.

Almost
It doesn't matter how much our team gels, we're still too weak on the glass and still will have trouble defending a dominant big man. I agree we need to be deep and have great chemistry, but there is no doubt there's a piece missing. Nellie himself kept saying that he's only got one dominating player (Baron), and that to win a championship he needs 2 or 3.

you dont see
that this was another Nellie ploy. Basically letting theotherplayers know that he needs at least one or two to be dominant (J-Rich, Steven Jackson etc.)

Jackson cannot be a dominating player
with the way he dribbles. He can be an excellent passer, spot up shooter and slasher, but he cannot for the life of him constantly take the ball to the hoop, not if the team wants to win.

Jrich probably could be but he's content shooting fadeaways all day.

This is only on the offensive end, on the defensive end jack is already a beast, jrich probably could do better with some more work.
