Game Five and the truth about The Mavs

This paragraph says it all.  To quote Marcus Thompson II from insidebayarea.com:

Don't be fooled by the Game 5 victory. The Mavericks blew a 21-point lead. They had to hang on for a nail-biter at home against a Warriors squad experiencing its first close-out game. The Mavericks are a couple of made baskets by the Warriors from cleaning out their locker room today. A championship team wins this all-important game easily. A title-worthy team in this situation shifts to an extra gear when it has a team on the ropes, even if just for the perk of resting starters in preparation for Game 6.

This FanPost is a submission from a member of the mighty Golden State of Mind community. While we're all here to throw up that W, these words do not necessarily reflect the views of the GSoM Crew. Still, chances are the preceding post is Unstoppable Baby!

i agree
i just hope we haven't woke a sleeping giant (Dirk) by letting this series get to a Game 6.  I still feel sick from last night.

Disagree
What matters is the win. I disagree that it has to be a bigger win. The Mavs conquered their demons last night. Down by 9, they came back in less than a minute. It was a completely different game after that. The tide has turned. The Mavs have awaken (I wanted to them to sleep until next season). Game 6 will be very different and very difficult for the Warriors.

I hope the home crowd can help the Warriors get over the hump and into the win column on Thurs.

the learning curve
We will see who is right--which team (and coach) learned the most from last night.  There were all kinds of lessons to be learned.  My money is on Nellie and Dubs at home tomorrow night.

Anybody see
Baron's after game interview. I didn't like his body language. I know he was tired as hell but he seemed dejected as well. I hope he has his swagger back for game six and takes his frustrations with the refs out on the Mavs. BTW where the hell is our second leading scorer in this series? Monta has disappeared in the bright lights of the big show. Hopefully he can muster a good game at home. Here's hoping we completely dominate game six and are up by 20 with two minutes to play so we can see Foyle get some minutes!!

We will be fine..
It was a tough loss but Baron is not gonna let this game effect next game and the rest of the Warriors seem fired up. We will win next game if we ahave no suspensions and Baron will take over down the stretch.

The mavs gave us their best shot last game and we should have won. I dont think we played our best basketball last game but if we do on thursday its byebye mavs

He (Baron) is not gonna let us down at home.
Nobody will. Even if it means Kelenna Azubuike will have to see some minutes due to freak suspensions. C'mon guys, they believe because WE believed!

NO WAY!
Baron is not going to let his team or the fans down. No way, there is no how. As for the article, great one! I also still feel sick from that loss diirty. Thursday will be absolutely amazing! I cannot wait.
