Not looking ahead, but ...

I need a rooting interest in the Utah/Houston game ... I'm not looking ahead or taking anything for granted, but that game is very likely going to be played and I am very likely going to watch it -- so I would rather root for the team that the Warriors would potentially have the best chance against in round two.

The way I figure it, the Jazz stand a much better chance of running with the Warriors ... but if the Rockets can control the tempo, there is little if any chance the Warriors can beat them in the half court.

In the season series, 2-2 Jazz, 2-1 Rockets.

Help me out, who should I root for?

The game starts in 1:20 ...
believe me, I'd rather have the Warriors in the second round first -- but before it is logistically possible for that to happen, the Jazz-Rockets game will be played. There's just no getting around it.

Jazz
Root for the Jazz tonight so if Warriors close it out tonight they'll have more rest before the series starts.

Jazz
You have to root for the Jazz because T-Mac and more importantly Yao would be tough. Yao is 7-6 he would get so many offenseive rebounds it would kill us and we play better team D and T-Mac can break down defenses in a way that no one on the Jazz can. The Jazz remind me more of this Mavs team and the Rockets would be a totally different animal. But first things first we have to close this series out tonight in Oakland.

It's ok for us to think about.
Just not the players.  They gotta win one more time first.  But...

I think we can beat the Jazz or the Rockets but what about this.  We play every Texas team on the way to the Championship.  I spend some time in Texas every year and that would be sick to have ultimate bragging rights over a whole state!  Especially the state responsible for the Bush family.

Warriors in 6!!

I don't know how much you watch the W's...
Not one fan should wish that this team would play San Antonio.

Pick your poison
Two superstar team with some solid role players or a deep team with a 2 decade patented play in the pick and roll.

Although I'd pick Houston so Foyle can get some more playoff burn, but if Utah gets it, Warriors get some rest and they can get some revenge on Fish face.

does anyone remember out last game against Houston
Harrington did a great job fronting him. I know he's been struggling, but I doubt Foyle will get any run.

That said, I think Utah is the easier matchup. They pretty much HAVE to play big, since their best players are big players, and I'm not sure that's something that works against us (but I want us to play Houston since I live in San Antonio...)
