ESPN Analysts Say Warriors

Surprisingly so 3 of 4 ESPN analysts say that the Golden State Warriors will win the series. I believe the can, since we have the most rest and momentum. We just need to stop Carlos Boozer, Matt Harpring, and Paul Millsap. They all have been Warriors killers. Here's how I predict the Warriors will win the series:

Game 1: W
Game 2: L
Game 3: W
Game 4: W
Game 5: L
Game 6: W

Exactly the way we beat the Mavs. Lets go Warriors and shock the world!

I agree
100% with your pics... 1 question? Does anybody know how much the tickets are for the 2nd round? Are the 45 and 60 dollar tickets staying at the same price? and when are they going on sale? Thanks

I was pulling for Houston
because I believe the warriors could take care of the rockets easily, but Utah will be a challenge.

The power of Boozer, Milsap, and Harping versus our speed.  Both teams can create mismatches.  Both teams have big guards (ours are bigger).

Monta and Al will be key: Utah doesn't have anyone quick or fast enough to match up with Monta and Al will log big minutes versus the Booz.

As long as BD healthy throughout
then I see it going exactly like the Dubs, Mavs series...

good call.
I like your prediction.

guys,
I think we might be overlooking Okur. He could be their X Factor especially if he's draining them treys. I wonder who's gonna guard him, because at the same time Biedrins or Harrington would have to body up Boozer. It'll be interesting to see how Nellie defends Okur.
Ronald Reagan was a jerk.

um think this
harrington should gaurd him, but i dont think he will be a problem

I'm not sure Okur will be able to guard anyone
if Al decides to show up. I think the guy we might be really overlooking is AK. I know he's had a bad year offensively, but his D has been there. A versatile big man that can play D on the outside and inside is definitely something I was hoping to avoid. That said, we've been playing at such a high level, we should win unless we have a big drop off. Baron's just been amazing.

They haven't got the personnel that Dallas has...
...more of the same for us.  Jax's got Boozer, with Andris picking everyone up around the basket.  We'll mismatch someone to Okur on the offensive end and blow by him every time.  Baron's got Deron on lockdown.  Jrich and Barnes will deny the ball to Harpring and Okur on the defensive end, where we have major quickness and athleticism advantages (a stand still shooter like Okur is NOT going to get off against us like he needs to).  Milsap will kill you on the O-boards, so that's a challenge, but we send multiple leapers at the rim to make up for our girth, so i think we'll taken any size disadvantage in stride there.  Kirilenko's the wild card, but that dude seems to be content to shoot jump shots like our boy Dirk, only not nearly as well.  Jax is going to force Kirilenko to play him outside and we're going to have to be working the pick and roll's with Andris, and hitting the 3's from the corners, because someone's going to have Okur trying to keep up with him, and he has to capitalize.

i feel good about this.  i'm sure the poll reflects some desire to see the sexier team (Yao and T-mac), but the we're down with the Jazz.  you know who i actually see having the most fire on that team against us?  D. Fish.  that guy would love to sit out on the perimeter late in a game with a 4-6 point margin and rain 3's on our parade, you know it.

let's get it done.  go DUBS!

No they don't , But they've got just as good a line up! At one point in the season they were kickinass so we gotta be carefull.
I don't watch them much but it looked like the Rockets could beat them last night if they'd attacked the rim in the 4th qtr so maybe that's what we should do? My guess is the Jazz will try to break Baron down  by working him hard so hopefully one of our other players will go off and take the pressure off Baron.
The Rockets woulda been more relaxin to watch plus they are not so dang ugly!!

FUgly
Yeah, those Jazz sure are ugly.  Especially the Boozehound.  I can't wait for this thing to get started!

How they matchup....
BD----Williams
JRICH---- fisher
Jax-----Okur
Harrington--- boozer
Barnes---kirilenko

I think we will see a lot of barnes doubling on boozer to leave Kirilenko open for shots. I think Jax can take out Okur and eliminate him as their X factor. Look also to see Kirilenko taking turns on JR to shut him down if he gets hot.

I am scared of Kirilenko on D... blocking shots on fast breaks and the like.

We should win this series. As long as Bd stays healthy

not sure how anyone's watched the warriors...
...play and can still muster the simplicity to do a 1-1 match-up breakdown of starting fives (even guessing our starting five would be a mistake).  Nelson will line them up however we create the most advantages, the way he always has, the only way we're still playing this year.  we'll continue to switch on every screen, etc. such that the players that catch the ball out high will have our quickest on them, and the guys in the post will be denied, denied, denied.

When's the last time Boozer scored 116 pts?  what's that?  well then, i guess i'll take my chances with that mis-match.

go dubs!

hmmm
interesting starting 5 if that is what your proposing...havent' seen that one yet but I like the matchups. Maybe Nellie will use that.

ESPNs sure knows their stuff
I certainly can't blame ESPN for going with the Warriors.  They're red hot right now.  And their dispatch of the Mavs was impressive.

I'd like to point out that, at the beginning of the playoffs, the ESPN "experts" picked the Mavs and Rockets in this half of the bracket.

I wouldn't put too much stock in what those hacks have to say.
