Marcus Thompson II wrote an interesting article in today's Contra Costa Times about Shawn Marion:

Like Baron, Shawn Marion can opt out of his contract after this upcoming season. Marcus raises the issue of whether Kerr should trade Marion while his value is very high; or, keep him and potentially watch him walk as a free agent next summer. He also advises Kerr not to undervalue Marion's role and ability. Marion is 29 and will make $34 mil over the next two years if he doesn't walk next summer. In addition, the Suns have a $77 mil payroll and most likely won't want Marion long term.
Lastly, do you think the Dubs should or would have any interest in Marion?
