Perusing the web.....

......just upsetting.

I love the notes....

Notes: "The second coming of Larry Bird" as one hoops junkie friend put it. Has that uncanny court sense of a coaches son. Amazing fundamentals and approach to the game. Crafty at getting his shot off. Excellent stroke. Very good athleticism. A wolf in sheep's clothing.

Good thing we didn't pick up Stoudemire.

haha
notice the contradictory statements about his athleticism in the weaknesses and the "notes" section. He's not only NOT athletic, but he's also VERY athletic.

hahaha
they gave him a 9 athleticism and then they say hes slow and not athletic at all.

I think that "larry bird type" players don't really thrive as much in todays game.  its more about athleticism really.  i mean i guess you could say dirk has thrived but hes a 7 footer who can just shoot over everyone.

basically
any tallish white guy that has ever made a three pointer gets the inevitable bird comparison. ie adam morrison, et al. fuck that. I wish this would stop. not every black guy who ever dunked on someone gets a vince cater or MJ comparison.
