Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

The JRich Movement

Golden State of Mind is home to such grassroots campaigns such as The Yi Movement, The Singh Movement, Bring KG to the Bay, and even the Bring Back Boykins Bonanza. It's time to add one more to the list sparked by ffgolden, JRichIsAGod, and many other loyal GSoM community members--

The JRich Movement

jr_movement.jpg

You've read our thoughts on JRich and what he means to the fans and this organization many, many times, so I'll pass the mic on over to ree10:

The good people over at Say Hey are also on board this movement.

If the Warriors traded Jason Richardson would you still sport his Dubs' jersey with pride?

These rumors can't stop the movement:

Kobe...then...Jason
The rings, the keys to the city, anything he could ask for, and Kobe is still whining and complaining about MORE, MORE, MORE!!!

Then you have Jason, 6 years without making the playoffs, working his AAAAzz off every off season, playing hurt and still losing, and for what?? LOYALTY. What would it say about this organization if we were to trade away one of our best players, who gave his soul to this team, year in and year out? What would that say about us? Exactly
J-Rich is a warrior and should always be a warrior. He stayed wit tha team through thick and thin. Someone should make a video of him playin wit all his injuries, remember when he had tha torn tendon in his finger and still played, and when he came back in tha game after he hurt his ankle againt utah, and dunked on dude. Tha boy is a warrior in every sense.
I love 2 tell tha truth, but I'm such a Good Liar

mhmm
ahh yes...I remember. Or that time we were playing the Cat's and Okafur had like 5 blocks. 4th quarter we threw the ball to Jason downlow and he posted up some dude, spun off him, drove the lane and yacked all over Okafur. Hit the ground yellin. Another defining moment.

Great post
Not only will I wear my JRich jersey forever, my unborn children will wear them. He cemented his legacy here with the combination of the newspaper ad, and then being on the first playoff team in 13 years. Every year it seems I have a new player on the team I sort of latch on to and root extra hard for, but when I'm at the games, I only wear #23.

Warriors For Life
J-Rich has given everything to this organization and its fans, this movement is long overdue.  Keep the BoomRich backcourt together!

Damn right
Finally JR gets a nice injection of love on GSoM. This sh*t was long overdue. Let's keep it going right through the draft ya'll!

That's two votes man. You and me. Glad to know I wasn't alone on that one.

I'm down with the JRich movement again.
I was wavering.  He had such a shakey playoffs.  But he was a rock and more during the regular season and he still contributed a lot to many of the games in the post-season.  He's a Warrior.  Hell, he's the Warrior.

Inspiring post.

loyalty
i think it goes a long way here.. and i mean the warriors extended their loyalty to a player who has given them his.. jrich may be near his ceiling - i'll concede that - but he has many productive years ahead of him

We must proudly sport our Jason Richardson gear. We was the man, he was the best. and hopefully the trade will be worth it. Because we'll miss him so much. i know i will :)
