Monta Ellis

I know there was just a post about monta, and how he should be untouchable, and i totally agree.  These everyday rumors about monta for barely top 8 picks are ridiculous.  UNLESS we are getting KG, stoudemire, kobe, tim duncan, forget about putting ellis in a package.  Why does it seem like once the warriors find good, new, raw talent, that they feel that they need to ship it off. play it smart, keep the core, draft good, everyone stays healthy next season, and WALL-AH #4-6 playoff spot!

This FanPost is a submission from a member of the mighty Golden State of Mind community. While we're all here to throw up that W, these words do not necessarily reflect the views of the GSoM Crew. Still, chances are the preceding post is Unstoppable Baby!

C'Mon!
I love Monta just as much as everyone else, but this is just getting silly. Discussing a Monta trade with the likes of Kobe, KG, and Duncan (I mean really), is just out of control.

i was not implying
that ellis be traded for them straight up, but in a package with others(j-rich,harrington,beidrins,whoever the timberwolves want) we may be able to pull it off.  I know that we'd never land kobe bryant or tim duncan, but i was just using those names as examples.

Why
Would you start a brand new thread when this same topic is discussed in like 3 others?

I think...
why some people are willing to part ways with Monta is because we might lose him to free agency next year anyways. We already have a PG & SG who are better than him at the moment. If the W's trade him for a higher pick, they can address other team needs and not have to worry as much about Biedrins' contract.

How many Blogs are gonna front on Ellis 2day?
Ellis is gettin butt raped 2day in rumors! It's the Ellis Die Hards vs. The "Trade Ellis for somethin' Bigger" today. The Past few days have been all Richardson and even Pietrus, Foyle is gettin' in the trade rumors but Ellis is gettin' the dirt today. Only time will tell, and that time is Tomorrow! That's love for ya- we'll see how the table turns for Ellis draft day...
