Roller coaster day today.
I blame it on my new shoes. I've mentioned on here before that after the All Star break I started wearing my GSW edition of Nike's AF25's to games. I missed like 3 home games and my shoes were undefeated up until the last home game.
Last month I ordered some Nike ID Dunk Highs that were Sport Royal/White/Yellow with GOLDEN STATE ID'd on the side. They were scheduled to arrive today; perfect for the Draft Day party at Jillian's! I couldn't wait to get home to see them. When I got home, there they were. I opened the box and then. . .I was just as shocked as when I heard the JRich trade happened. Sport Royal somehow turned into a pale purple! I now had "Golden State Lakers" shoes. Thoroughly disappointed. But something inside me felt that that wasn't the worst part of the day.
It was an omen.
