Brandan Wright to Warriors? GREAT MOVE!

I've been a fan of the Warriors for over 10 years now and I'm as sad as anyone to see Jrich get shipped out. I feel sad for him because he's now in the rebuilding/no playoff stage again. But please listen, this was a great move for the Warriors franchise. We opened up cap space for our young players. Gained a trade option. We had too many guards., and NO ONE was going to take Stephen Jackson.

Another thing, I'm always reading up on new prospects and when Brandan Wright was first being covered he was coveted as being the closest thing to KG that anyone has seen in a while. Even on NBADRAFT.NET they have him compared to Chris Bosh. Lets see what this kid can do, let him get some strength. When he was at UNC I thought he was a beast.

Overall I think this was a great move., We'll see what happends. Hopefully we got our KG in Brandan Wright.

This FanPost is a submission from a member of the mighty Golden State of Mind community. While we're all here to throw up that W, these words do not necessarily reflect the views of the GSoM Crew. Still, chances are the preceding post is Unstoppable Baby!

Thanks for killing my first post bro.
I was just trying to voice my opinion in a different way from the others. I haven't read some of the points I've given in my post. Everyone has been down on this trade. But I think this will really benefit the Warriors.

Lineup
Another reason I think this would be great is.. I know nellie doesn't like to play rookies but what if Wright gave us the chance to play this lineup.

1 Baron
2 Jackson( back to his normal position)
3 Harrington( back to his normal position)
4 Wright( adds defense/rebounds right away)plus he's  skinny so he can keep up with Nellie Ball.
5 Biendris

Rookie in Nellie System
Actually Nellie did play rookies.  In Dallas, he played Howard and even Daniel.  Now we all know Howard is an all-star.  In fact, if Wright is as good as advertised, he should be in the 6- or 7-man rotation immediately.  But I do see the Italian guy will be playing a little bit more if MP and Barnes are gone this summer.  I like the hassle of Powell and I hope Warriors will keep him.

Brandan Wright's New #1 Fan
First of all i would like to say welcome Brandan to the bay im a big Warriors fan and im glad that the Warriors trade Jason for Brandan since Jason wasn''t very versatile and now that we have Wright with a 7 foot 4 wingspan we won't get out rebounded 50-25 by Utah or some other teams with big men plus Wright has a nice jumper and good moves to get to the basket. And hes like a baby Garnett.

Wright
will contribute this year because of the warriors style of play, the only things there gonna ask him to do this year is run the floor for dunks, rebound, and block shots.

i agree
if tyrus thomas can contribute...Brandan Wright can contibute.

More crap?
OK this is the useless thread so here goes...anyone notice Warriors fan CCSabathia won his 12th game already this year? Can that big skilled dude play center? CC movement anyone?? and wingspan? what is normal? Is there a chart? I'm 6.0 tall and just measured mine as 6 ft 6 inches.
