PrintAfter hearing that his name was mentioned 545,324 times in three weeks on GoldenStateOfMind.com, Kevin Garnett forced the Timberwolves to trade him to the Warriors. Sources close to the situation claim that KG felt so much love from the Bay Area online community that he simply couldn't resist checking out what all the fuss is about.

Hey, it's happened before
He first announced his intention to become a Red Sox not to the mainstream press but on Sons of Sam Horn. The rest -- bloody sock, end of the curse, etc. -- is history. (And he still posts there a ton, weighing in on such subjects as gyroballs, opposing hitters, and the latest Jessica Biel photoshoot).
Players blog too -- a lot more than we imagine, I suspect.
In other words, keep an eye on this site...
