HOT OR NOT: AND 1 TOCHILLIN

p700645reg.jpg

The AND 1 Tochillins (2000) were, in my opinion, the best And 1 shoe ever made.  Period.

These hot post-game shoes "to-chill-in" were the perfect complement to your regular game shoes, providing comfort and more protection than your regular slippers that you throw on after the final buzzer.  Coming a variety of colors and a fair price (between 40-50 dollars, I think), you could coordinate with any ballin' outfit.  Me and Atma disagree on a variety of things and this shoe is definitely one of those things.

Are these shoes...HOT OR NOT???

I have that exact shoe...
there's a hole in the front, left big-toe area, so i only wear them around the house now as a slipper.. hilarious! you are so right... i never before, or since, have worn a more comfortable athletic shoe.

nice post!

They'rrrreeee Grrrrrrreeeat!
I'm not a sneaker head like the rest of my fellow writers but I had this shoe so I gotta chime in.

They are DOPE. Easy to kick on and off and simple in design. If they were still available I'd buy a pair today.

Are they still available?!

Haha
Yeah dogg- where did I go wrong? I have to say you really disappointed me when you sported those in college. I thought I taught you better than that! 15 years of being boys and this is what you learned from me? Have I taught you nothing?!

You guys who don't like these shoes are crazy
Most comfortable shoes ever, and I can rattle off a dozen pair of uglier shoes you've probably owned at some point in time. I still buy them to this day, and have always had at least one pair in possession from the day they were released. Best And1 shoe ever.

Wow
These shoes are the ultimate old-mand-who-used-to-be-a-jock-but-can't-tie-his-shoe-anymore
footwear.

Keep these shoes inside the house, I almost went blind lookin at em right now.

Playoffs!!??

Those were hot...
Halfway hot at least.  I sported the white & silver ones, the all grey fleece ones, and the red ones.  Never played basketball in them though... they seemed comfortable for semi-casual wear, not for the run around and jump wear.  I agree with JB2KG though... the Prestos were hotter than this.
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

I vote for
Supporting the Marbury shoes.  Have they ever been discussed on this site?  If not, they should be.  Tests show they don't hold up too well during intense street play, but for everyday use they are very cool and durable.  And they won't get a young kid robbed or worse.  Check this out if you don't know about it.

By the way, so many thanks to my "FFGolden" pal for making my webpin or maybe Drawz for putting it since I'm officially "ancient"!  Way cool or whatever you say now. :-)

Starburys FTW
I'm wearing some right now. I have a pair of casual shoes and a pair of Starbury IIs. They have been great, besides some minor wear that comes on a little too quickly (screen printed layer of the insole peeled off, purely cosmetic). I play in the IIs a couple times a week and while my modest athletic ability (to put it mildly) probably doesn't put them to the strictest test, I have been very happy with them. They were worth the drive to Santa Maria.
FORZA ITALIA!!!
