Interesting: Davis Threw the First Pitch at the A's game last Friday

Yes, our Baron Davis threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Oakland A's game vs the Baltimore Orioles last Friday July 20th. It's great to see that Baron is still representing the Warriors in the off season and how the A's wanted him there to represent Oakland! (I'm not from the East Bay, but Oakland is my favorite sports town) There's nothing much to say about this, but I thought this would be an interesting thing for people who did not know about this. I wonder if he's an LA fan or an Bay Area fan, since he's from LA?

Also, it seems like Baron shot a jump shot from the mound, instead of throwing the ball like a baseball player. :-)

Does
anyone remember when we first got Baron? He was killing and he showed up at like 2 Giant games. He actually got in the both with Kruk and Kuip and said he's always been a Giant fan and a Barry Bonds fan and never liked the Dodgers. Strange since he's a so cal boy but that's pretty cool.

i'm pretty sure he grew up
lovin LA sports.  i mean he reps where he is from, he went to ucla, etc... but he mos definately supports and roots for his new home town teams, i mean he also donated a lot of money to new orleans for katrina.  im guessin he likes his LA teams better, but he also really likes this area and he's here right now why not catch a few games and support the area.

Baron
Lives right across the street from AT&T Park...so you KNOW he is a Giants fan. Plus, being on with Kruk and Kuip kind of solidified that. Anyone see that AT&T Broadband thing with him and Deion at Baron's crib in the city?

by gswrico on Jul 24, 2007 9:38 AM PDT reply actions

that doesnt say anything
Where he lives doesn't say that he's a Giants fan. So what, if he lives across AT&T? Tons of people live across from AT&T and are not Giants fans. It's a nice newly developed area, which attracted Baron's taste. Baron likes the area, but it doesnt say that he's a fan of the Giants. Go OAKLAND!

ya
i saw that...i was trying to figure out where it was, looked like it could have been south market, are you sure he lives right across from the park?  there's some nice lofts/condos down there but i'd expect baron to have a more private spot...
