POB = POS

POB is terrible and it's not even close.  He makes Josh Powell look like a hall of famer.  The sad thing is that I really don't see much hope.  I know it's early, but I would bet alot of money and call him an official bust.  I hope I'm wrong.

I get angry when I watch him play, especially in the summer league when everyone's busting their ass trying to impress the coaches.  The guy just looks lost.  He's going through the motions, but has zero impact on the game.  He plays the opposite of hungry.  It almost looks like he's given up.  At this point, I'd trade him for Todd Fuller, wherever he is.

Who is "POB?"
I see people saying that here all the time.

Nevermind
I see it's Patrick O'Bryant

Pat.
The thing is that this guy just by looking at him looks like a soft player, kinda like Yao. But at least Yao can score and grab boards and actually compete well enough to be pretty good, but I just don't see the determination in POB, like we all did in Biedrins, after Biedrins was hurt his first year in the league, he started to get better eventually, I just hope Pat gets better with time, but I highly doubt he'll make the team. Marco, Kelenna and Josh will all make the team for sure, I hope Wright gets better, I can't believe we got him with our pick, when we coulda got someone like Noah, who would be a beast on our team.

Noah...
The only thing beastly about Noah is the guys teeth. If you think Brandan Wright doesn't have an NBA body, take a look at Noah. It just happened to be that he played on a good Florida Gator team that had  all around talent. Did you see him in the championship game against Oden?

yao
POB should never again be compared to Yao. That would be a complete insult. Yao's an all-star.

Yeah man...
The 2-3 times I actually saw him play at the Arena, He looked like a lost little puppy... I remember 1 time he got a rebound and didn't know whether 2 pass or run it down the court. He has potential (in my eyes, the dude is descent on 2k7 for the 360 lol), and I agree, he does look the opposite of Hungry... maybe he's on a diet lol... anyways, maybe POB should roll w/ Jackson, grow a goatee and mean mug when he plays... that's Gangsta'!

Can we.....
just cut him and give someone else a chance...when he plays it seems like he just doesn't care...he just gets in the way of Kelenna while he drive to the bucket...i could've sworn during that summer league game i saw POS try to swat the crap out of Kelenna....weird
how do you know when Yi really belongs in San Francisco?....When he gets slammed by a guy name Gay.

my favorite POB play
my favorite POB play was the airball hook shot.
I'm mean, it's not like he's 6'3".

he makes foyle's concrete hands look soft.

he's obviously raw
He is an athletic body but it's obvious he doesn't know his way around on the basketball court.  He probably needs to play pick-up games every day for a year before he can show improvement.
