CRAZY IDEA: Good fit for PG

I know you guys will probably laugh at me... But I really think I know a guy that could be a very very good backup PG for Baron Davis. The guy´s name is Valter da Silva. He´s the starting PG for Brazil. He is the tournament leader in assists.
I´ve been following his career for almost 5-8 years and he is a pass first poing guard. He loves to through alley oops, plays an uptempo style of basketball but he´s already turned 30. I dont even know if he´s still eligible to plat in the NBA. I can tell you guys that he´s a very very good player. What do you guys think?
