Feedback on lower bowl seating

Hey Guys,

I just purchased season tickets in section 122 last row.

Does the basket really get in the way?

Is this by the warriors bench?

Any body got real pics from or around that section?

I just cant wait to see since i have been stuck in the 200 section for years and will be the first time for me sitting in the lower bowls

Go
to www.Warriors.com and check out their seating section, it'll show you where your seats are.

Go here to see in 3d
http://www.seats3d.com/nba/golden_state_warriors/level_00_find_your_seat.html?price_plan_selected=&a mp;

Here you can putin section and row to get a 3d moveable image. Just hope you're about half or more to the corner of court. If you're close to the aisle near basket the basket will be in the way.

I have used the 3D but it does no justice.

Good Seats
I got tickets in Section 122 also, and its a great view. A lot better than 123, 109, or all those corner sections. Section 122 is right next to the Warriors bench. If you have seats from 8-the last seat, they should have no obstruction. I have seats in 11 and 12 and they have a clear view of the court. Go 122! :-)

sweet
im in row 23 seats 7 and 8 i believe

That's the the pic im looking for!!!

Do the Warriors only have upgrade days annually?

Is it just tough to upgrade in any seat location around the $48 price range seats?

I picked up my season tickets duing the playoffs and originally had 215 row 3 but decided to go lowerbowl.

Also do you have trouble selling your tickets off craigslist?  I know there is no way for me to go to all weekday games.

Thanks!!!

SECTION 105
I've had season tickets in section 105 (corner section behind the visitors' bench) going on 5 years next season and to be honest I think you get more bang for the buck in the corner sections, but I'm not here to argue about which seats are the best because that all depends on someone's preference and wallet size.

The seats at the end of the court are always popular because they're in the lower bowl and they're cheaper than any other seat in the lower level.  Since you're up in row 23, the backboard shouldn't obstruct your view.

The WARRIORS do offer an annual upgrade, but to be honest you might not find anything better since more people have bought season tickets the past 2 years.  You might be able to upgrade if you went from the end of the basket to the corner or something, but probably not lower in the same section.  They'll send you something in the mail that you will fill out if you want to upgrade.  They'll contact you to let you know when you will be able to go into the ARENA and check out better seats or they'll tell you that there aren't any seats better than what you have.

You shouldn't have too much trouble selling tickets on craigslist, but it all depends.  I've actually found it a little harder the past couple of years, because like I said more people have bought season tickets and I think people don't go online to buy them as much because they either have tickets now or know someone that does.  So sometimes you might have to eat the tickets or sell them cheaper than season ticket face value.  Since the prices went up this upcoming season too, that might add to some difficulty, if any, to selling your tickets.

Some tips on selling them would be sell them early and sell as much as you can even if you think you might want to go.  If you hold on to them, you might not be able to sell them.  Hold onto the ones you definitely know you'll be going to.  I made the mistake of holding on to some games too long and had to sell them way below face.  Just like ballin, take a picture of your seats and post them in your ad.  Don't use pictures that are taken from the section, because it's not exact and might not even look as good.  I like to downplay how they look so when they actually sit in my seats, they're blown away and want to come back for more.

Anyways, I hope that answers some of your questions, if you have more, feel free to ask!

thanks!!!
Do you have pics of your section because I had the chance to get that section as well when I chose to upgrade to lower bowls but decided to go on the home bench side.

PIC
Yah, here's an actual pic from my seats.  It's not zoomed in or anything.

Although I'm a WARRIORS fan, I can't make all the games just like you, so to make your tickets an easier sell, if you had tickets that were on the opposing team's side, then you might be able to sell them easier because non-WARRIORS fans would be coming to see a particular team.

Also, the WARRIORS tend to come down to this side of the court after half-time!

Let me know if you have any other questions.

nice!
What row is this in?

by EnticivEclipse on Aug 6, 2007 10:20 AM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

ROW
I can't divulge that information for confidentiality reasons.  If I told you, I'd have to kill you! hehe jk

I'm in row 9, which of course is 14 rows up, because you have your A rows, and then the numbered rows.  I know that people think it's close, even though I know it's still up there.  I haven't had a chance to upgrade though for like 4 years, unless I wanted to move to the sideline club which will cost you almost double for just one ticket.  No thanks!

Anyways, hope this helps you!

I agree with scottiepimppen
I own sideline club seats that is more on the visitor side and I have sold them during the regular season real quick because of the team the warriors were playing but I also ate a few games last season because I didnt have time to post them and sell them. I hope I dont eat these tickets again this year.

GO WARRIORS

YUP
There's an advantage to having seats on the visitors' side because you can sell those tickets to a fan of the opposing team.

Also, since more teams are getting better players from the draft and free agency, you'll be able to sell tickets to games vs. the BLAZERS, SONICS, HAWKS, etc., easier now than before.

I think it was better when people weren't jumping on the bandwagon, because now everyone and their momma has season tickets and you can't move them as easy!

I agree
Everyone has season tix now and it's harder to sell.  I bet you half of those people that bought tix recently only bought it for the playoffs to make a quick buck.  As much as i want to go to all the home games, there is no way for me to do so. If i end up having a hard time selling my tix and i know for a fact that my seat is going to be empty I might just give them away to some GSOM'rs
