GSoM Night II - A Teaser with More Details Coming!

GSoM Night was off the hook!

A lot of you know about the ridiculous success of the first GSoM Night. We had an astounding 350 people buying tickets through GSoM. The GSoM sections were rockin, the arena was rockin, and Washington got rocked. If you missed hanging out with the GSoM community, check out what one of the diaries had to say about the experience.

So what's this all mean? It means that GSoM Night II is going to be even bigger and better. I just met with GSoM friend and Warriors group ticket sales representative, Chris Murphy, about how we can improve on GSoM Night. We have a lot in store for you guys and gals. I can't give you all the details right now, but let me leak 2 important details.

Can we attend the courtside shootaround?
Yes, just like last year you'll get to show up early and go down courtside and watch the players warm up.
Most importantly, which game is it?
OPENING NIGHT vs Utah! We're getting you discounted, "buy them before the regular public can" tickets. Chris Murphy and GSoM are hookin you up! That means we can get you tickets to opening night, which is guaranteed to sell out, well before you can buy them online through the Warriors.

Sorry, but right now that's all I can tell you. So sit tight, I'll have all the details next week once I hammer some stuff out with Chris. Make sure to vote in the poll to tell us if you plan on coming or not.

I remember last season, vs. the Wizard's game, you guys rocked a whole section! You had those bangers, threw out shirts to the group and made hella noise! and I was on the other side of the arena! I'll give up my eats just to chill w/ ya'll!

Oh Yes, but

Last year I was told I couldn't attend the shootaround because I had my own tickets and it was limited to folks who bought a GSoM ticket. Can you imagine that--it really sucked. So then I went up to the section where the community was gathering and couldn't find a one of the 350 souls who claimed they attended. I thought it was a conspiracy because I am the Commish, but I stuck around then took off to my seat.

I am looking for a much happier ending (oh yes) this year. What do you think? Oh, by the way, I voted that I had my own tickets but I guess I'd spring for another ticket if I had to.

There's a ton of ways to sneak down! All season my wife and I attended the shoot arounds finding openings to get lower level! and if u aren't obvious.... you cant get caught... the best part is when we get down there, and if the people's seat you're occupying doesn't show up... the seats are yours! All you have to give up is a trip to the restroom! I did it about a dozen times! LOL! (U can't deny the upper level though, the real fans are up top!)

I'm gonna be living away from home for the first time in my life. Man the Washington game last year was amazing. That and the Dallas playoff game I got to go to because of this site were the highlights of my Warrior life so far. We should have 2 nights this year with one in December/Early January cause I think I have winter break then.

GSOM Opening Night

I will have my own tix for Opening Night but would like to join in on the GSOM fun, especially the pre-game shootaround. I am willing to buy two tix for the GSOM section & then sell them for 1/2 price to anyone who is interested.

Banning People

I know OptionZero is just joking around, but I want it to be 100% clear that we don't ban people around here. To date aside from spammers only 2 people have been banned from GSoM and they were both one time homophobic/ racist posters who were fans of other teams (Mavs and Jazz during the playoffs I believe).

What's the deal if we already have Tix?

When GOSM releases more details, could you guys include details as to what options are available to people who are season ticket holders and already have tickets to the game to hang and participate in any pre-game and post-game events with the GOSM crew?

I'm in the same boat and this is what I'm gonna do

a few things you can try doing, sell your tix for that game back to the Warriors (forgot the site, never had to do it) or sell it to a friend or family member... I always sell tix my friends are not using to friends at face value- at times my friends who do go come straight from work so they get there late. I halfed my season tix w/ a buddy so I'm letting have the game 1 tix that way I can roll w/ the GSoM squad. Hope that helps, I'm sure next week we'll get all the news and info w need 2 make this happen! I've even requested that day off lol.

Home Opener

Tony thanks for the response. I'm sure that there are several season ticket holders who are fans of the GOSM site and would like to participate in any pre/post game events that they might be hosting. Furthermore, I'm sure GOSM will try to incorporate as many fan as possible in with whatever they are doing for the game.

Personally, I think they sound host a tailgating event before the game to get everyone JAZZed up for the home opener. I can't wait for the season to start.
