Frist Poll of 2008: Who goes, who doesn't?

Ok, so you think this is another trade related question.  Wrong.  I'm curious how many of our GSoM community members actually have season tickets; and, if not, tell me why. I have season tickets with my wife but take my oldest granddaughter (10) when my wife doesn't go.  My 10 year old is crazy for the Dubs and loves going with me when she can, even on a school night.

Poll
Do you have season tickets?
yes, I share in season tickets
3 votes
I get to go to a few games
57 votes
no, I don't go any games (unlikely)
21 votes
yes, all 82 games (yum yum)
8 votes
yes, I split season tickets seats (42 games)

Yo
Your poll is wrong. Ff u have season tickets its only 41 games + 2 preseason. Its not all 82 games, cause that would be impossible unless your extremely rich and have no job to worry about.

BTW, I do have season tickets!

3-5 games a year
Unfortunately I can only make it out a few times a year. The cost is just a bit much for me at this point. I also have a  2yo son (not a good age to sit through a whole game) so that can also make it a little tricky to get out.

I don't
because if I got season tickets, I'd have to treak 1000 miles for every game. My love for the Warriors is deep, but not that deep.

I would.. If I could afford them.
I go to about 3-4 Warrior games a year if I can get out there. I live in Fresno. So its about a 3 hour drive plus the gas it takes to trek out to Oracle.
I was able to go to the Suns home game this year. Boy that was a great game. Thank god for FSN Bay Area.

hmmm
a bit of unneeded hostility there JB. but yeah, like most people, ticket prices have gone up on the scalping market so I can't get them for as cheap as I'd like too. add on top that I'm in Santa Cruz for school now and the fact that I don't have a car (first year college student) and that I can't get a part time job because no car makes it that more difficult. I went to four games last year including GSOM night I, but zero so far this season which makes me pretty sad.

yo...
a fellow banana slug here!  Maybe we could find a group and make a little trek up to O-town for a game sometime?  I've got a car...

Anyways, I'll probably make a handful of games this year.  I saw them beat the Rockets, I'm planning on attending the Hornets game in a few days, and I know I'll be joining the fray during our run (hopefully) to the playoffs.  The cost is the only thing keeping me from going more than I do.

that was what i was trying to get at
I apologize if my post seemed snooty in any way.  Perhaps it was my wording but I was interested to know if the people who spend so much time on this site went to the games; and, if they didn't, why.  I mean I assumed it was financial or folks did not live close enough to make it feasible.

The ticket prices are really high but a few years ago the Warriors front office said Warrior tickets were the second lowest in the NBA.  I'm sure that isn't the case now.

Maybe it was a stupid poll.  But I didn't mean anything by it other than I was interested in the numbers.  And I must admit I would never have thought that as many as 21% go to no games--of the sample who responded.

asdf
I don't have season tickets but I usually get two of those mini packs that come with four games. I've only been able to get one this year but it's got some pretty dope games in it, it starts with the Nets game which I believe is on nation TV, the Bobcats and the return of J Rich, the Celtics and the big 3 and the last game of the package is against the Mavs on March 30, it's safe to say that I cannot wait for that game to come.
