Do YOU see what I see on "Nellie Ball"??? PART ONE

Strategies... Strategies...

Using your team's strength and not focusing on weakness... let me try to use my 10+ years of basketball experience onto this "Nellie Ball" Theory... how it works, how it doesn't work....

So let's use the fresh memories first.  Why did Nellie bench BD and Jax so early yesterday against the T-Blaze??  The bench has to develop.  If we adjusted Harrington to a 6th man off the bench, do you know what that means?  Our bench sucks.

Don't get me wrong on what I'm saying, but think about it.  Our top draft picks this year aren't exactly flourishing what they're doing.  I'm almost sure POB will be gone this coming year.  How are we developing?? Luckily we still got "Air France" (sadly, I can't believe I'm saying this), but Pietrus' role was suppose to be Marco's.  Spot up good jumpers to bail the team, may be 5 - 6 shots a game.  So back to the subject, our bench is really not that strong afterall.

I like what it's made up of first.  We have Azibuike and Al that I believe are above average bench players or 2nd tier starters.  Back to Nellie Ball.....

  1.  You gotta use your bench to be successful.  was it me or just did it seem like the Ws were out of steam going into Utah last year in the playoffs??
  2.  Wins and Loses are just figures.  Use your math.
The Spurs game before the T-Blaze had to be one of the games that you would look and say, "Probably will lose".  You look back and pulled 1-1 for the last 2 games.  Not bad, you beat a quality team, and you used your bench to a hot team to test their skills.  Your starters got rested.

3.  Have plenty of tricks up your sleeves.
Why did the Ws jack up a 3 when they were down vs Nuggets???  Because you don't want to use your game closing plays when you're going to see this same team in a couple of days!!

Given this is part one... give me some feedbacks?? so I can expand my topic...
