0.600 & Baron as All Star linked?

Is a 0.600+ Warrior winning percentage and Baron Davis getting into the All Star game linked?

Star-divide

With a win tonight at Indiana, the Warriors will reach the 0.600 win percentage mark  for the first time. It would be a snub of major proportions to not have a representative of a 0.600+ team at the All-Star game. At 0.600+, it also means that Denver and Utah will be behind the Warriors in the standings. A win tonight will accomplish those key milstones (win pct and standings advantage). So, the best thing the team can do to get Baron to the All-Star game is to keep winning until the All-Star team members are chosen by the coaches.

With all that being said, I wouldn't be surprised if the Dubs dogged it tonight.

hm
I don't see the correlation between being on a winning team and going to the All Star game.  There are always those star players on absolutely horrible teams that always make it.

I think going to the All Star game goes more hand-in-hand with national exposure and fan appeal, of which the Warriors still get none outside of the Bay.  Even on Sportscenter they usually show the Warriors highlights near the end/closing of the show, and sometimes they don't even show the video highlights of it, unless of course we're playing the Spurs, Suns or Mavericks.  Couple that with the fact that only a few of our games have been nationally televised, despite the fact that we can hang with anyone in the league (except maybe the Lakers).  The Warriors are maybe one of the most underrated teams (by the media) in the league.

Nobody outside of the Bay really knows about Baron Davis still, and that's pretty sad.

well
i knew who baron davis was last year when i lived in mississippi before i moved to the bay.  i got his dubs jersey when he first got traded.  i remember rushing to the store cuz they only had 3 jerseys.  i came back to the store a month later and the other 2 were still there.  well i guess all they care about there is monta.
He never stopped running!!!

uhhh
The warriors can hang with anyone in the league including the Fakers.  Did you forget we beat them already once this year.  If you said everyone except maybe the celtics or even Utah it would make more sense.

no to ruin anything
but didnt we beat the fakers when kobe was in the building feeling himself (sore groin) but yeah utah would of been better because they are the David to the Goliath to the small running teams just aka suns and us.
What you thought that I only played basketball? I AM A Golden State WARRIOR!

you'll
have those few super stars that make it regardless, but for the most part if two players are fairly close in talent (i say fairly loosely, like Baron and tony parker)  they go with the player on the better team.  even though tony parker can't shoot and all he does is go off of tim duncan screens, and his numbers are worse than barons

Bulls vs. Warriors Friday
I think this Friday will be a big game for Baron.  I'm hoping he lets it come to him, but if he has a nice stat line and we come out with a W on the road...all while being broadcast on ESPN, this could only do wonders for his chances at an all-star berth.  I think he deserves it, I think coaches would agree.  Dubs fans remember -- most western conference coaches (outside of Byron Scott) probably love Baron's game and respect him as a player....even Scott probably respects what Baron can do as a gamer - just not as a person because of their torrid past in Charlotte.  So mark your calendars, and tune in to (hopefully) a Warriors blowout on Friday and a nice night from BD.

All-Star vs. rest
I would love for Baron to make the ASG, but judging from all of the padding and wraps he's wearing lately i also wouldn't mind if he just got some rest.
I pray i never have to use a gun again.
