TheWarrior-Pacer Trade from an NBA Expert--one year later

I am not sure who Kelly Dwyer is, but he has written an interesting and entertaining article on "the trade--one year later".  He seems like a clear Warrior fan so perhaps the GSoM powers that be might want to contact him for some Q&A in the future.  Hey, for all I know everyone else knows this guy, but I enjoyed his article in Yahoo Sports under NBA Expert Opinion.  Here you go:

This FanPost is a submission from a member of the mighty Golden State of Mind community. While we're all here to throw up that W, these words do not necessarily reflect the views of the GSoM Crew. Still, chances are the preceding post is Unstoppable Baby!

Kelly's a Good Man
Ask and you shall receive. We'll try to get him on the show soon. He frequents GSoM.

winner was
Mullin, who got to keep his job - imo he had one foot out the door if the dubs playoff drought had continued

and Nelson, who got a team more suited to his style, made playoffs, and signed an extension

nice article, nice shout out to GSoM, but not much insight or new information/analysis

I couldn't agree more
with your points, especially about Mully getting to keep his job.  We were going nowhere very fast with the weight of the DunMurphy and their bloated contracts.  Still, I have to give those boys some props for sticking it to us in Indy although clearly we self-destructed big time.  I thought Dwyer made that point by saying we aren't as good as we think we are when we can have a collapse like that, especially against the Pacers.

AGREED
The W's definitely came up the big winners in that trade!  Not only making the playoffs last year, but pretty much sustaining that run into the beginning of this year!  Let's just hope that the W's can either keep it going all the way through to the playoffs or get some "help" w/ another blockbuster or positive trade!

Oh and I think that JAX would have scared more children during Halloween WITHOUT the mask! haha  jk JAX!  Much love and respect!!!
