What is your most embarrassing Warriors item you have ever owned?

No need to be embarrassed here. Lots of Warriors fans have had very embarrassing pieces clothing with the Warriors logo on them. I for one have had my fair share. But I would love to hear what everyone else had that they were ashamed to wear. Here is my embarrassing warriors gear

My mother bought me a Latrell Sprewell jersey for my birthday, not knowing that he had just choked out coach PJ.

This FanPost is a submission from a member of the mighty Golden State of Mind community. While we're all here to throw up that W, these words do not necessarily reflect the views of the GSoM Crew. Still, chances are the preceding post is Unstoppable Baby!

I used to get made fun
People would give me crap about warriors stuff in high school all the time, not just because they recently added the new (thunder) logo/unis, but because the team was so bad.... I still have a warriors starter baseball jersey. Wore to the Staples Center last year. Royal blue, button up with golden state logo on the chest. Classic.

foreal
it's funny though, how people would talk down the dubs, but I would still argue in thier favor, even though there really wasn't an argument that could be made...=X

don't trip - i was rockin the smith 32 jersey with pride until recently all over l.a.  thank god for tha much fresher "city" gear!

A couple things...
I had the #10 Mike D jersey as well.

When The City jerseys came back, I had a choice between J-Rich (who, to that point, hadn't done anything more than dunk) or Nick Van Exel. I went with the veteran. Ouch.

yeah
i was so excited when the city jerseys came out a year later.  i put that dumbleavy jersey the closet. i went with the j-rich and still have the jersey til this day.

I would still rock the ish out of a Sprewell #15 jersey.

Anyone got one that want to get rid of for free let me know, I will take it off your hands/back.

Put a little mustard on it

as a kid...
I had every piece of W's gear they sold. BUT, they didn't sell sweat pants (FYI this was like 1989). So I had my mom take me to a store and they printed WARRIORS in alternating blue and gold letters down my white sweat pants. Custom, straight custom.

I totally rock my Sprewell jersey. My mom got for me in my early teens from the flea market. I'm sure it was mega cheap.

Starter Parka
This thing was nasty in retrospect.  It was a Starter Parka circa 1993 that was all mustard yellow with blue letters that said Warriors across the chest and a logo on on each shoulder.  The neck, waist and wrist trim were the same as the starter polyester jacket shown above by Frisco Joe.  Man that thing was nasty.  I must have looked like a walking mustard packet!  Thought I was a G though-LOL...

An Orange Warriors Cap
My son (7 years old and a budding W fan) bought me an orange cap with the new Warriors bolt logo.  I have to wear it since he bought it for me with his piggy bank $$.  From where, and when, I come from, The Warriors colors are Blue and Gold (with the occasional white tossed in).

I really dislike the new orange crap as well as Thunder!

I think my son has gotten the idea as of late though ......... he made my wife buy a Baron "The City" jersey.  - Those old school colors are sweet.  Thank you Jake!!!

Rollin with Chris Mullin!

I don't get it...
All of these things that are supposedly "embarrassing" sound either "hilariously awesome" or "retro superfly" to me... maybe there's something wrong with me or maybe it has always been cool to wear Dubs gear.

I still get made fun of to this day for...
My early 90's free t-shirt I got from a dubs game that I got signed by David Wood shortly after the game, and proceeded to wear it to school the following day. I was about 10 or 12, and my buds still remind me of it monthly.
