VIDEO: Webber and the 1993-94 Warriors. MUST SEE! Enjoy this fellow GSOM'ers!

As a tribute to his return to the Warriors, I've uploaded my first ever YouTube video of one of C-Webb's best games as a Warrior his rookie year.  The video is from the final minutes of a home game against the Magic in March of 1994, and it's a clip that has it all:  Mullin's quick hands, Avery's clutch j's, Gregg Popovich filling in as coach following Nellie's ejection, Shaq's sideburns (???), Penny, Billy Owens, Roaracle Arena on full blast, and an ending that gave me goosebumps and brought tears to my eyes (still does!).  It's 10 minutes long.  But try not to skip to the end!  It'll be worth the wait!  Enjoy!  Here's the link:

and
it's good to see that Barnett is still sticking to his "unbiased" comments...at the end of the game he said, that blocked shot by CWebb could have been goaltending! When commenting he is by far not a homer!!!

Damn! right on for the upload...
four of my favorite Dubs of all time that season, Spree, CWebb, Mully and Tim...That was my favorite Dubs team...I was barley going onto the sixth grade but I still remember being stuck to the TV screen when the Dubs played...

I remember that game like yesterday.
They were down 11 points w/ a little over 3 minutes to go and came back to win.

Now, everytime I see a game where a team is down 10-11pts w/ 3 min left, I think of this game.

The fans were just as loud back then.

While were on CWebb videos, I don't know
if any of you guys remember this commercial when CWebb was playing for the Kings...I just remember this track by Mary J (Roy Ayers Ubiquity sample), it just fit nicely with the commercial.

I was there man!
I've been going to Warrior games since 1985. My Dad is responsible for my lifelong adoration to our beloved Dubs.  We often talk about this game as probably the best game we went to including the playoffs from last year (Dallas/Utah).  I think I can say this was the best because the fans were the loudest I've ever heard aside from last years playoffs, Shaq was the new Wilt Chamberlin, CWebb was off the chains good as a rook and Mullin/Timmy/Spree were as good as it gets.  CWebbs block to end the game was sick too.  The place was going absolutely  bananas that night and it truly says something that with all the games I've gone to, this one still sticks out as maybe the best NBA game I've ever gone to.  Nick Anderson, Shaq, Penny, (3D)Denis Scott,  Mullin, Spree, Billy O, Timmy, Avery Johnson, CWebb-what more could you ask for?  Thanks for posting that game-what a classic!!!

I agree!
Growing up in the late 70's and early 80's, I'd have to say that the only other feelings of all-out euphoria I've had as a Warrior fan (non-draft related, non-J-Rich dunk contest related) prior to last year's unforgettable series versus the Mavs was (in order of most euphoric):  1) the ending to this Warriors/Magic classic, 2) Sleepy Floyd scoring 29 points in one quarter against the Lakers in a 1987 playoff game, and tied for 3rd) the buzzer-beating ending to a road game against the Hawks in 1993 that ended with a "Spree for three" from the corner / J-Rich buzzer beater vs Mavs / Monta buzzer beater vs Nets.
Boom Dizzle for MVP.

Wow
Thanks for the trip down memory lane, that video was hella tight. It brought back some good memories. Good upload.

And in my un-baised opinion, I think Orlando has a point at the end of the game, I would be pissed if that happened against us. C Webb did take that ball out the rim.

Put a little mustard on it
