R Dizzle: Man, I'm glad it's finally Friday! Work really sucked this week, but at least the Warriors season kicked off and I got to chill with a buncha my homies at GSoM Night 5!
Unfortunately that game was terrible for both my blood pressure and my heart seeing as though I went home crying. No matter, at least that game gave me a bit of hope, or dare I say it, BELIEF, in this team that I wrote off months ago.
But on to tonight! It's Friday, I ditched work early so I could catch the 4 PM tip off and there's nothing around to distract me! Warriors vs Raptors baby! I get to see my main man Jermaine play against his old teammates! This is going to be dope!

Alright, enough of my bad humor. I'm super excited to see how the Dubs match up against the Raptors who are still cooling down their victory from Wednesday night. Chris Bosh alone pulled out 27 points and 11 boards and seeing though no one's going to be able to really stop him, he's gonna have another huge night.
Their big offseason acquisition, Jermaine O'Neal, also pulled in a decent first night with 17 points and 8 rebounds. I'm intrigued to see Harrington (or Jack?) D-up against their former teammate in tonight's game. O'Neal looks healthy off of his injury so he might end up being tonight's Warrior Killer...
Lastly, it'll be interesting to see how the Dubs bounce back after Wednesday's loss. No one really thought they had a chance coming into that game, but they stuck with it to the very end. Maybe that's the kind of confidence booster this team needed to jump start the season!

Anyway, there’s no excuse for Brandan Wright not to play tonight (except if he’s injured of course). Bosh is no David West, he’s a skilled player but he’s not gonna eat BWright’s skinny ass alive. I hope Nelson at least give him or even Randolph a run.

Curry?
Are you serious? Curry doesn’t even compare to Al, even if al isn’t as good of an inside scorer. Al at 6-9 averages about the same amount of boards as 6-11/7-0 foot Curry does. Harrington is a better outside/midrange shooter than curry ever will be. They average about the same amount of bpg at .5? 6-11? Curry plays like he’s a super fat 6-5 guard that just happens to post up down low. How would a 285 lb “center” who can’t run the floor, help us?

It won't be a killing..
As long as Biedrins gets minutes and stays out of foul trouble, Harrington makes his shots and all of them share the ball. Biedrins can SOOOO put up 20 and 20 at any time, given the PT and opportunity. Look for Turiaf to take on O’neal down on the blocks.

I loved last season lineup of Davis/Ellis/Jackson/Al/Biedrins (small ball), but this lineup that made this beatiful run at the end of the second quarter is AWESOME!

Jack at the point for a few minutes here and there isn't a problem.
You just can’t have him playing there almost the whole damn game. We even had Kellena at the point for a few minutes, thats ridiculous.

Two things.
One, R Dizzle that is the sickest Halloween picture I’ve ver seen. Seriously, that is one badass pumpkin.
Two, I didn’t see this game, but Toronto’s a good team as well. People need to stop perpetuating the Harrington’s not clutch thing though. I think people want to believe he’s not clutch and throw out his clutch shots. I wouldn’t go so far to say he is the most clutch on our team, because I don’t know about the new players and he is not as clutch as Jackson, Azubuike, or Ellis, but he’s about an average player in the clutch. He hit a big shot last season versus the Celtics when we beat them, he had that one game where he was on fire in the fourth, might of been like Chicago or something, I forget.
Anything better than an 0-6 start and I’m good.

i keep wondering
is jackson really clutch? or do we assume he is because he has a badass attitude? when I try to recall how good he has come up in late game situations, I can think of air balls, errant passes and turnovers more frequently than big shots that win us the game.
