PrintSo today they are playing the almighty Portland Trailblazers. These guys look like they can do some serious damage in the west this season. They have bodies that we don't do too well against. But does anyone know the channel this game is going to be on? I checked my guide list on directv but couldn't find the KGW channel anywhere. KGW is Portlands local station and its being broadcasted there... or does anyone know of a stream?

I’m in Portland but we have a number of out-of-state fans and here’s what they’re saying on Blazer’s Edge:
Last night I did watch the Blazers game on Justin.tv.com and is was on stoogetv.com also. So hopefully one of those will have it.
And someone is reporting on the Celtics’ game via another option : For those interested in watching the Celtics pre-season against Philly over the Internet (DARIUS)
You have to download a software, but it’s developed by a team of former Stanford students so I guess it’s safe (or at least not less safe than downloading some Chinese software). And it’s available for Windows, Mac,… The quality kicks Justin.tv, and there is a channel right now showing NBA TV.

i actually have portland
as the best team in the west for the next several years. i actually think they’ll surprise everyone and win their division this year over utah. utah struggled against them last year, and this year they’re infinitely better. fernandez last night had the best 6 point, 5 assist game that i’ve ever seen too, an unbelievable addition to a stacked team.

It may not count but it looks promising. Add Monte to the mix and Hollinger may be right. We would be a 50 win team.

He likes our team better this year than last. Only time will tell.

portland’s on a back to back and roy, webster, blake didn’t play. guys who make ppl look better than they are like luke jackson and ike diogu did.
hollinger picks based on stats… and he usually picks houston all the time? though i think he went w/ jazz this year…
hollinger thought we were only going to be 36-46 last year.

outside of turiaf and randolph, they shot 81%. doubt turiaf get’s to the line all that much in a regular season game and based on watching this game, randolph isn’t playing much this year.
if it’s mostly just maggette and jax, the team should be okay.

Biedrins improved, so can the others
I am really impressed with AB’s improvement for FTs, no reason the others can’t get better. It seems the players have improved from last season, so hopefully the coaches can do their magic on the new guys.
Good game guys
Wright and Buke looked very impressive. Maybe it had something to do with the poor defense by the Blazers. They were both very aggressive going toward the rim and not settling for jumpers. Good luck with the season.

thanks for the defense guys… not trying to outduel GSOM… just a place where you can read game recaps pretty much. I’ve always liked people’s thoughts on each specific game but very few blogs, including this one, have a recap shortly after the game. So i started mine, im throwing out some analysis, and starting some discussion. short and simple

they used to have them here but even when they did they were REALLY delayed… sometimes the next game was already in an hour or two and the recap was just gettin up. Reasons like those led me to start the blog. so enjoy, particularly if GSOM doesnt have time to do them this year
