From Don Nelson, about Al Harrington, to the media. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3677648
So, first of all, Don is right. Al must think he's David West. Or maybe he thinks he's Chris Bosh, and yes i'm going to go there, I'd pick Josh Boone over Al any day. 17 points, 3 blocks, 14 rebounds and one steal. Pretty good. Only 3 years in the league. Well I'm glad Al wants to go. Peace Brother. I feel bad for Al because in Indiana he didn't really play the same type of role as he is doing with us. Nelson is the King of small ball, and Al, well isnt really small. And i'm sorry but he still doesn't look that much in shape. Maggette. Now that's in shape. I have no idea who we could get for Al and I have no assumptions. I don't want to waste my time, because we could get nothing but draft picks. Hopefully we aquire some quality guys who know how to play basketball, and don't mind being a Warrior for more than 2 years.
By the way, we really gave away a first round draft pick to sign Marcus Williams. I sure hope Mullin isn't making all the moves up there, because that straight up ain't right. For Marcus. Us. Or the Warriors.
On another note, someone made a post about Nelson only playing 6-7 players a game so far. They also said Nelson needs to play those younger guys more. I totally agree with that. Sorry to burst anyones bubble, i've been a Warriors faithful for almost 21 years now, but we aren't making the playoffs this year. Nelson knows it. Mullin knows it. The President knows it. So i say play Wright. PLEASE play Randolph. (and hell no not Zach) Play Bellinelli. Play Azubuike. Play Williams. Were building here people. So lets build.
Wierd how just less than 2 years ago we were in the playoffs with Baron, Monta, Stephen, Al, Jason & Biedrins giving the Mavs the BUSINESS! Square one we are folks, Square one.
