I have been reading and viewing this website for a very long time and I would like to thank the moderators for contributing to the website. I never post but I like to read the interesting ideas people have to say. The Warriors have changed a lot every year and you guys have continually been supporting them.

THANK YOU on behalf of the rest of the GSMers.

As a Thank you, I would like to offer some tickets for tonights game,

Those guys

They deserve a lot. Not like a million dollars, but they deserve several hook ups like that. They basically bring all of us Warriors fans together thanks to this site. People say that this site has fallen off, but I think they only say that because the Warriors are somewhat of a sucky team right now (And it’s frustrating to notice that since the Warriors were a playoff team only 2 seasons ago). If we become good again, everybody will be happy and not complain about this site.

I deserve tickets

because I watched the game when our starting lineup included both adam kiefe and bill curley. bill curley, at one point, hit a pull up three in transition, his pubic tuft swaying in the breeze. in another sequence, adam kiefe went behind the back to himself and then dunked it before falling into a camera man. it was amazing, not only that we had these two lumbering, freckled, middle aged men on one team, but that at one point they were two of our best five players.

Ok gents! I am also in the spirit of giving. I have 2 excellent lower bowl tix

to donate to one creative and loyal fan. One requirement is that you bring some noise to section 116. Thesection is full of librarians. I love to get in the ear of the referee grader he sits two seats in front of me normally. You will see him taking notes on every call. Give him grief for me. Ok guys now who wants the tix? Man, I was in a meeting 2day w/ a potential client who was so cheap… told me my drawings weren’t worth the $150 I was charging him but the thing is he was asking for hella ish beyond what I usually do in my Dubz signs…

After he said he couldn’t afford my service I blatantly said “You know I missed a Warriors game because of you” and he told me “there gonna lose anyways…”

I ended up not being able to make it, so I gave the ticket to my cousin.

Think you might be able to save some tickets for me between Dec 13-Jan 11??? I’m an avid reader and loyal Warriors fan. Unfortunately I went to boarding school in Mississippi and represented the bay by myself in the playoffs. I also go to Marquette (Dwayne Wade University) in Wisconsin and I have to stick up for the bay once again because they don’t believe in the Warriors. I watch every game on the Internet or on TV if possible and check GSOM more than my FACEBOOK! I would be soooo appreciative if I could get possibly 2 tickets to any game. I think the moderators do a great job here. They let everyone have our say and don’t delete things they dis-agree with which goes a long way toward making useful discussion. This is my favorite site, the wide spectrum of people make it very interesting but if I was unhappy I’d certainly just leave
( maybe that’s your solution?) Trying to insult Tony won’t work cause everyone here knows what kind of genuine guy he is, insulting Tony just makes you look dumb.

I’ve been loaded with work with little time to check the site in the past few days but I just have to sound off on this post.

First of all to NIIIIIICE, for generously offering up those tickets and secondly to all of you who sounded off. While I’m just a small piece of the enormous picture that comprises GSoM, I’m proud of the community that it’s become and especially proud of Fantasy and Atma for the great Warriors stop they gave birth to.

No one can see your video if you don’t move it to a FanShot. Instead of taking baseless shots at people and calling other people’s FanPosts “crap”, you might want to use the 20seconds it takes to move your material over there.

I thought this blog was for warrior fans to have fun

you are making this no fun and completely Rowell-esque. I liked this blog because people like me could just make comments and post a poll on a post that got people having fun. I remember that i had 5 rec’d posts at the same time when this blog was dead! now you have lost another person who will come to this blog.

  I remember that too, everyone rec’d them cause they were so pointless :>)
    I don’t know why they bother to take things down, it seems to waste more space discussing why they were removed than just leaving it up would?
      Maybe the solution is make the fanshots more prominent ? Give then equal billing at the top some way?

As I said at the time, you’re the only person ever to have all 5 recommended diaries at the same time. Amazing — a record that can never be broken. Whatever you do from here on out, you’re up there with Baumerworld and the “single L Skeptic” in the GSoM hall of fame.

Would it make sense to have a catch-all “backwash/feedback” forum for this type of thing, maybe after fanposts and fanshots?

As long as we’re on the subject: personally, I’m not sure word count or even depth of analysis is always the best measure of a good diary. For example: “Anthony Morrow’s 37 point night: how excited should we be?” — with no other words typed, is a fantastic diary, as long as you were the first GSoMer to post it.

To me, all a good diary should have to do is spark a good, substantive discussion that isn’t being held simultaneously somewhere else. The distinction between a fanpost and a fanshot does sometimes seem a bit artificial.

It has nothing to do with you or the intellectual value of your posts and everything to do with getting rid of that stupid “Spanish team is racially insensitive” post from the “Recommended posts” section.

i never asked for all of my posts to get recs but it was tiring for me to see for a couple of weeks no new news or recommended fanposts. the people made their decision. I never asked for them to be recommended.
