Off the topic of the dubs...

Did anyone else see the Atlanta/Boston game earlier tonight? My God, almost 60% from 3-point land!

I predicted a sweep of our season series against Atlanta this year, but after seeing tonight's performance I think I might have to change that. They can't shoot that well from that far forever, true, but when they weren't taking shots they displayed some pretty great defense. Not enough to win the game tonight, but enough to let people know that they are gonna make any team that plays against them really work for that win.

Never thought I'd say this....but I'm a little worried about us playing Atlanta now. Oh well. We'll see what happens when that time comes. But for now, we've gotta upset Detroit tomorrow. Hopefully Maggette will be back!

Paul Pierce with the game winner!

yea ATL is a legit team now, so are the blazers. they’re gonna b scary
for some reason, im not too worried about Iverson and the Pistons. they haven’t meshed too well yet. they barely beat sactown – had to make a comeback in the 4th and need Iverson to drop like 30, 7, 9.

Thank you, Dubs.

...

they barely beat sactown and we got blown out by sactown… what does this say about us?

by saintdee on Nov 12, 2008 10:54 PM PST up reply actions

can't really make a complete judgement

after all, we were missing maggette, harrington, and monta.

now, if we get blown out by sactown with those 3 back….then we can be worried. til then, sunday’s game was a fluke.

im surprised...

…if the warriors can beat anyone. if we’re still gonna use missing monta as an excuse for losing, then see you in December.

I pray i never have to use a gun again...

...unless i'm at a strip club parking lot...

...and somebody tries to run me over with their car...

...But how often does that happen??

Shaq

Shaq pushed McGrady, Yao, and Skip-to-my-Lou. For the record if I ever get into an NBA brawl…I want Shaq on my side.

oh

yeah anyone notice all these fights and brawls have been on espn. Maybe they do it for the publicity because most of these brawls don’t happen when its the local channel. The Palace Brawl, The nuggets Knicks, I think their might be more. And has there ever been a fight on TNT?

well Atlanta's defensive efficiency is 3rd in the league (Lakers 1st, Celtics 2nd)

if that continues and isn’t some sort of fluke, look for the Hawks to be one of the top teams in the East.

Barnes

Not sad to have seen Barnes go, he makes too many stupid plays like that. But Pietrus looks like hes doing good, Anyone know if he has stepped out of bounds on any threes yet? I would love to laugh at a Magic fan if I knew any…
