Some thoughts on the Pistons loss:

The level of the Warriors’ competition went up Thursday. The level of their winning went down.

And it’s very possible that’s going to become a familiar lament for Golden State in the next few weeks.

It’s a cliche to say that the Warriors, as the NBA’s youngest team, need to learn how to win. But it’s a fact that Detroit’s 107-102 win over Golden State is the fourth time out in six losses for the Warriors this season in which they’ve held the lead in the final six minutes and failed to hang on.

Atleast we only have to deal with Iverson one more time this year……

I don't like some of Nelson's lineups

Randolph should have played last night.

On a side note: After the game my brother, dad, and I went to La Pinata in Alameda. Randolph was sitting directly behind me with some friends. I wanted to give my condolences for him not getting any burn, but I don’t like bothering celebs in public. I don’t think anyone else other than my brother and I even recognized him.

Haha, It’s not like his dog died. He probably was just saved the embarrassment of getting schooled by TayshanPrince.

where was belinelli and randolph?

Nelson’s rotation is so messed up he trys new things each game as far as players, so of course you dont no what your gonna get out of them. I mean morrow has shot well when hes played but i dont understand how nelson could put him in before belinelli. I hope belinelli could get traded if hes not gona play because nelson plays with his mind too much. he could be a solid player if he gets a chance.

Morrow has beaten out Belinelli

doubt it. it’s never happened that a bad Euro player came to the NBA and suddenly became good.

So, so sad

At the time of the draft, all the sites I read were MUCH higher on Rudy Fernandez than on ’Beli. We picked Beli ’cos he could “help immediately.” God forbid we should have to wait a year for a guy who can actually play.

Goddam need for instant gratification. It’s the single biggest reason we ended up with Joe Smith, Fuller, Foyle, Dunleavy and Belinelli rather than …. well, you all know the drill.

i remember this; and Belinelli was supposed to go like 24 or 29 to the Suns b/c of the D'Antoni Italian connection.

i also recall Hollinger in particular thought Beli wasn’t even deserving of being drafted… well, here’s hoping he’s wrong about AR.

it’s never happened that a bad Euro player came to the NBA and suddenly became good.

Biedrins (though he was too young to consider him anything more then just ‘potential’ when he was drafted)
while Jasikevicius is was and will be great Euro player but was non factor in NBA

i can say Beli is better then he was last year (bodily) but he still sometimes looks lost in D (running around like trying to say whereismyman-whereismyman) -though it’s hard to became an NBA player if you don’t get any consistent PT (at least 5min per game) -on the other hand -if his bigger strenghth is his shot and MoRo shoot better then he then this guy isn’t worth his draft position

build a team & destroy the roof and

Sign Tim Hudson now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"where was belinelli and randolph?"

Randolph VERY SIMPLE

Nellie is still SUPER pissed at him following the defesive Howlers he made during the Wolves game. If anyone can find the clip on Youtube or something, you see the mental fit Nellie threw at him when h got caught out of position for the second time in a row and we lost 4 points. We wre all saying around us in our section looking at Nellie that he was about to burst multiple blood vessels.
So Randolph may be sitting for a while yet as the student evidently pissed off the teacher and is now in detention!!

Marco, I am not so sure about. There was a point in the fourth last night where I thought he could really make an impact right now and yet Demarcus Nelson went on? Again we are obviously not seeing what Nellie and the other coaches see in training, but so far from what I have seen of him he is roughly 50% on his shooting and shows good hustle on D, so really not sure.

Give Jax some rest

Again, Nellie played Stack Jack the entire game without resting him which caused Jax to run outa fuel in the 4th quarter…..If we had to point fingers at anyone for this loss, my fingers would be pointed at Don Nelson and his lineup “tricks”

We don't look so bad now

The Piston went to LA next night after beating us and beat the undefeated Lakers by about 10 points. So Warriors are apparently equal to Lakers?
