NBA 2k9 and the Warriors

So, I'm trying to update the sig shots for some of the Warriors and thought there's no better way to get an opinion (that I know of) than GSOM. So for those who play NBA 2k9, what changes have u made on the signature shots of the Warriors players?

Here's the changes I've made so far:

Biedrins - FT. I had two choices for him: Brand or Hayes. Biedrins has that hitch to his ft like Hayes but I thought Brand's release looked more like his. I think I went with Brand. It's just a matter of preference I think but it's definitely not Basic. What did you guys do on yours?

And for his jumper, uhmmm.... I don't think I've ever seen him take one. Anyone seen him? I don't think it'll be like his default though which has high elevation.

Brandan Wright - Changed his FT to squat. I have to double check that though next time Nellie plays him. Changed his jumper to Kick. Haven't messed around to see if there's a better fit but it matches better than his default (Bosh). High elevation, feet close together.

SJax - changed his FT but forgot which one. Also trying to see if there's a better sig shot for his jumper. I thought his elevation should be lower but at the same time I have to find one that also matches his release.

Those were my changes so far.

Me, too

Biedrins FT to standard (there’s no hitch but it’s the closest, in my opinion) and post moves to Shaq (all hooks). Jack’s post moves to Tilt and FT’s to Clean, Harrington’s post moves to Textbook. In my opinion, these are the closest edits to being accurate but I could be wrong. Oh and Wright I changed the same thing except for the jumper.

OS Outsiders...

I don’t have as much time to tinker with my roster this year so I’ve been taking advantage of 2KShare. I’ve been using the OS Outsiders rosters and they are awesome. Attributes have been adjusted, player tendencies, coach profiles, CAPs for missing players, a few classic players added to the classic teams, shot animation changes, and accessory edits are all included. This roster file alone makes the game twice as good IMO. The only problem is they are only for 360 (not a problem for me). The Warriors still need a little tweaking IMO but it’s a great base to start your own roster file.

Quick tip...

after you load it, go ahead and save Roster. That way it will load automatically every time you start the game. Also this way you can make your own changes and save as you go.

I have a question

Did you have this problem… I downloaded the OS v4.1, made my own edits and save it as a Roster2.

Then I went to my ongoing Association, and whenever I try to get out of it to the main menu, my game crashes. (It seems to happen as it tries to load the rosters). It’s a different crash too, even if I eject the disk the screen stays on. My other 2k9 crashes, it goes to the dashboard after I eject the disk.

I tried going starting an Association with it and didn’t seem to have any problem. But I just can’t go back to main menu after going to Association.

Hmm...

I had a similar problem with a different roster file (would freeze anytime I left the manage roster screen). I think that sometimes when you download them something goes wrong. I would try deleting the roster file and downloading it again. I would also check the Operation Sports forums to see if anyone else is getting the problem.

Yah, I am gonna be using their rosters. I’ve heard only good things about it. I didn’t see them change any of the signature shots though so I told them my edits and figured I should get some more input.

Spree, I’ll check your edits and see which one I like better. Wright you gotta change to jumper, check out his highlights, he has high elevation and feet together. His current one has him with legs apart.

Anyone in the tournament or the other season?

I’m like 90 something in the tournament (top 60 make it) and on the Mississippi Warriors (I think we’re in last). Even though Suns are my team, gotta stay faithful and rep the dubs even though I get torn apart down low.

Dude, it’s epic… 4 player co-op! Solid storyline!

I just played left 4 dead… didn’t know the Half Life 2 guys made that! inally a SOLID zombie game! I’m trading up for that this weekend!

nba live 09

has jackson and wright’s shooting style both preloaded exactly. and i would see if i could get shaq’s ft style for bieds. although he is shooting much better from the stripe this year so far
