Just for fun_fix the 49er defense

I was thinking about the Warriors squad, looking at their physiques, and decided I'd use them to make a better 49er defense, using current and recent warriors.

Star-divide

Here it is:

49er Defense: 3 linemen, 4 linebackers, 4 backfield

Nose guard: Turiaf, 250 pound of hustle.  His job, stay low, and clog up the middle. If the center tries to take his knees out, vault him and sack the qb.

Defensive ends: Biedrins and Randalph.  With their wingspan and speed, their job will be to stay on their feet, and put up a passing curtain so the opposing qb can only lob it over their 7+foot wingspans.  Relentlessly chase the qb

Inside Linebackers:

Azubuike and Magette.  These 2 will take turns blitzing the qb, and stuffing the runs.

Cornerbacks: CJ Watson and DNelson -- 2 quick cover guys that can cover the best receivers.  Crawford and Ellis  might be able to rotate in here too.

Free Safety: Brandon Wright will roam freely and swat down anything in the air

Strong Safty: Bringing back Baron Davis to lead the defense, call the plays and slam dunk any runner that gets past the linebackers.

Oh yeah

I think I still prefer Turiaf. Hendrix can rotate in on the line.

I like

almost everything but the corners. Nelson would get burned and Watson can’t defend that well. I’d rather put athletic corners in like Moped & Crawford with Morrow being the FS and Jax regulatin at SS. That’s a pretty nice thing. We just need some DE’s

you can’t fix the niners with the damn warriors. and worst we just to the damn cowgirls on sunday. The Warriors can’t plays D if there life depend on it. And didn’t the niners d-line and linebacker stop Marion Barber this past weekend?

If the Warriors were to play football.....

Biedrins and Randolph will be manhandled by the offensive line so they keep giving the ball to their forward… err…. running back and pound on us.

Now you have Buike and Maggette as strong linebackers but they are still outmatched by the OL and they get burned by the speedy recievers.

Watson and Nelson are cool but somehow they end up covering the Tight End most of the time.

And our best player just got released by the Raiders…err….49ers.
