imma dreamer...
like it says, i am a dreamer. but why not?
we have a bit of a log jam in our pg/sg/sf positions so here are my dream plans to clear this up.
baron and dunleavy do not seem to be getting along too well in LA so...
baron to gs for jamaal and kelenna (we could of course mix that up a bit with marco and/or marcus williams instead of kelenna)
ok and then we look for a power foward and in the process unload some of the log jam in the backcourt...
carlos boozer to the warriors for maggette, wright or randolph, and room for another player if need be
boozer will not be resigning with the jazz when his contract is up so maybe the jazz would have reason to trade him. we do not want to be renting him though. so with our young core of talent and baron's return, boozer would get pumped and want to extend his contract with us. boozer is still plenty young to work with the core of ellis, biedrins etc.
dream warriors lineup:
pg: baron davis w/ watson backing up
sg: monta ellis w/ ____ backup
sf: capt jack w/ ______backup
pf: boozer with randolph or wright back up
c: biedrins w/ turiaf backing up
for this i would for sure be THANKFUL!
Happy Thanksgiving all

i kinda
don’t want baron back, i don’t know why tho…
maybe it’s those constant missed pull-up 3 pt jumpers
or maybe its the ballhogging..
Or the times it seemed like he wasn’t trying his best.. i dont know
i do miss the swagger and leadership he brought to the team tho.
Dunleavy's #1 Fan !!!
It would be my christmas present if Baron came back...
He did throw up some questionable shots but it should be apparent by now that he was the heart and soul of this team and we have no identity without him. He was the motor that made this offense go.

Losing Baron = Lower GSW FG%
All those open looks are gone now that Baron is gone. I did want not to give him 5/65 but 3/39 would have been very fair and reasonable. Crawford will not make his team better – sorry. Oh well, hello lottery!
shot at boozer or...
is there any realistic chance at boozer or maybe mr. bosh?
i know toronto wants to keep bosh and have another year + with him. but if things change for either the raptors or jazz with boozer, wouldnt they rather get something for their stars before they jump ship and get nada??
we were hoping b wright would a bosh like player, and he still has a lot of room to grow and time to do it in…but what better teacher/ player to look to for wright as he matures then bosh himself.
add to that that bosh is quite a youngin. i like bosh over boozer especially for the dubs style but id give a kidney for either.
whether it's Baron, Boozer, or Bosh
underlying all these wishes is the fact that a player of that caliber draws so much attention by the defense that the rest of the players have an easier time getting open looks … when Monta comes back at 100% we might regain some of that and other players become better as a result of better looks, fewer but more productive minutes, etc.
we will of course still have a hole at PF, I’m sure Rowell is working hard at filling that …
That boy BD would be a G if
he realized the Clips aint where it’s at, buys out his contract and asks to play with the Warriors…
Watchin the Celtics game last night hella reminded me of when B hit that fadeaway game winner…We need someone to help the team get through the 4th. We have hella role players but no go to guy. Without Monta or the go to guy we simply got no chemistry. People start to get selfish (no need to say any names) and the ball doesn’t rotate as much. Now when Baron was around you can’t say that he was selfish, cuz honestly he was the man of the team. And took big 3’s and had good passes. With the Warriors and Nellie, it’s all like a a regular pick up game. I wouldn’t mind having B around to lead us through no doubt. Especially with his style of play. And if we still had J-Rich. ha I’m done…

Man you dream pretty cheap
I’m a dreamer and in my dream we traded…
Brandan Wright + Marco Belinelli for Derrick Rose + 1st round pick
Jamal Crawford + Stephen Jackson for Dwight Howard + Courtney Lee
Maggette + Buike + Marcus Williams + Anthony Randolph for LeBron James + 1st round pick
Courtney Lee + Kurz + Demarcus for Batum + Fernandez
Salaries Match On All Trades.
That fields us a lineup of:
PG: Derrick Rose / CJ Watson
SG: Ellis / Fernandez / Morrow
SF: LeBron / Batum
PF: Dwight / Hendrix
C: Biedrins / Turiaf
In my dream, Monta comes back as his old self. So imagine Howard and Biedrins owning the boards, Rose orchestrates the break with Monta on one side and LeBron on the other. Alley-oops everywhere!
In my dream, we have a good passing PG, and a good passing superstar. And even if the ball stops moving and we turn into the familiar ISO, Hakuna Matata! We also have two shooters off the bench to spread the ball. Turiaf backs up the bigs, and we can package Hendrix with Batum for a cheap more ready forward like Powe.
In my dream, why be excited on the future, when you can be excited about the present and the future!
