Mullin has been out of the loop for Much longer than we think

As more news emerges about the summer moves, it’s becoming increasingly clear that Mullin has not had control over the GM office these past few months, and maybe longer – and I publicly apologize for castigating him for his pursuit of Arenas. Apparently, Rowell’s finger prints are all over that near-fiasco.

Star-divide

Frankly, I’m not sure whether to just forgive Mullin or take pity on him for his plight.

If Rowell nixed the reasonable, 3 yr extension for Baron and then was behind the pursuit of Arenas, we can only imagine what the future holds without Mullin, and for all my criticisms most of us can agree that whether or not Mullin has been bad things could have been worse. The depressing state that is the GSW franchise is that is our claim to fame – things could have been worse. Yet, had they been worse, we might have scored another lottery pick and things might have been better in the longer term!

think the assumption was that gil would be ok after a whole season worth of recovery.

From what I read from Marcus Thompson,

I think, that the Crawford deal was orchestrated by Mullin. Larry Riley was supposed to be working a deal for Stackhouse and that fell through.

Ellis to the rim.

gah

i just read that…how about we start looking for a guy that REBOUNDS the ball and plays defense, instead of another player to add to the clutter of guards on this team.

mullin

so after watching a varsity highschool game at my old highschool, my friend who was at the JV game said that mullin was casually wandering around our gym by himself and showed me a picture for proof. This was about a week ago and I just found it very odd.

Maybe Mullin is looking for a new job already! haha

(btw the school is Newark Memorial which is in the very small town of Newark which makes it even more wierd.)

Newark Memorial...

That’s where my wife went to school!

Maybe he just finished a meeting with Marbury at the Steve & Barry’s at the mall. Was he wearing a new pair of $15 Starburys? I hope not. lol.

You can bring a 40 and smoke a cigarette and call me from the parking lot asking me what time the game is, and I'll tell you. You can even say 'F--- you, Steve!' Actually, don't say that, that wouldn't be very nice." -Steve Friend, Head Coach, Chabot College Gladiators Baseball

Chris mullins son goes to my schoool...

he lives in Danville and goes to San Ramon Valley HIgh, (which is in Danville). his sons name is also Chris Mullin… i am a teacher aid for the kids spanish class. he is a cool kid and i talk to him alot about the warriors…his favorite player is Monta Ellis. in between leaving notes on his tests i grade saying “tell ur dad to go after Lebron!”. or “why did ur dad not re sign Baron?” i actually have real talks with him about what players the warriors are pursuing. at the begaining of the season he told me David Lee, Gerald Wallace, and Jamal Crawford were all players the warriors were very interested in. obviously we landed on Crawford. he also told me that if monta doesnt recover 100% from his injury he may be traded before he actually returns to the court for us. and he tells me that his dad still makes all the moves for the warriors….sooo maybe he is making that up but thats what i heard

Chuck Norris has only lost in one thing. 1 on 1 with B-Diddy

pretty interesting

haha that must be so cool to talk to him like that though…. i doubt mully gives out all that information to his highschool son though……

now that i think about it we were playing san ramon in a scrimmage so that mystery for me is solved!

Rowell Sucks!

Strikes me this guy is one of these “I have never been any good at a particular thing but know more than you Mr former superstar about the game” type of guys.

The front office is a disgrace this season, the marketing team does not know its arse from its elbow it will be a very sad day is Mully leaves as I personally believe he has had great impact on the team. I got to meet him last year and had a reasonable chat and he seems a very genuine guy generally interested in making this club a real contender within a couple of years.

Rowell…..well cockroach comes to mind!

Wonder if we could pursuade a local company to sponsor a ton of T-shirt’s comcast style, only with the front of the shirt “Rowell OUT!” ?

Hell maybe we even get Tony to do a GSOM one with this on then we can all buy one!
