My Warriors Tattoo

PrintHey guys. I'm going to get a tattoo and I could use advice or suggestions. Before you go off about tattoos, I already have one. I also promised myself about 10 years ago that I'd get a Warriors tattoo if they ever made the playoffs. Well, I am living up to my promise. (I got my first tattoo after waiting 6 years to make sure I really wanted to get it) I have a few ideas, but I just don't know how to throw them together to make it feel very unique and artistic so that no one else will have it. Yet I want people to still understand where it comes from. So here are some ideas I have to throw around:

(I'm not sure how people have tatted quotes on their arms, but I really like this quote. I just don't know if it is too long, or if I should cut it, and how I should cut it)
Symbol: A view from under a rim with a hanging net, looking towards the clouds to see thunder and lightning. The quotation somewhere in the clouds or in the lighting.
What do you guys think? Are there any other suggestions? Thanks. And I will be glad to share a picture once I get it.

5 Years from know when the owners sell the Warriors to Belfast you’ll kick yourself. If that doesn’t sway you, you should get a Turiaf open heart surgery scar on your chest, or a 3 million dollar gold plated moped on your high ankle.
Or how about a Carlesimo beard on your face with red marks on your neck.

keep it short and sweet
no one want’s to read a bio on somebodys arm, I like the image your talking about but why not keep the saying in the clouds “An eternal legend” and leave it at that. or if thats to cryptic for you “a warriors lives forever and becomes something more, An eternal legend” have the first part of the quote smaller and the last part more dynamic.
(and yes I’ve had some ink work done)

Just remember
They only put thunder into the logo about 10 years ago and there are many rumors of them changing there logo again. You may want to reconsider the whole cloud with thunder and lightning thing. I personally would never get a team tatoo because they could move or hire Mike Nolan to be their coach for 5 years of the worst bball ever.
I kid I kid, just paint it on your wall in your living room or something.

I have a Warriors tattoo!
I have 4 tattoos, a name on my arm, my waife´s name with a gothic letter on one forearm. A Spider web tattoo on my elbow, just like the one Matt Barnes has and the Warriors logo on my other arm.

maybe the city logo with it saying the city… that would be kinda cool especially if you live in frisco, or maybe GSW in sick lookin words. Or the definition of a warrior would be cool like you have it just shorten her up a bit

get any silly Chinese characters. Too many guys get them w/o getting the actual meaning correct. Look at super demon mothball man… LOL
If you DO get Chinese characters, consult a native speaker first. Speaking of which, I wonder where or how that fad started. Maybe from the “samurai spirit”, but then the Japanese use Chinese characters for those too. And speaking of samurai spirit, I’ve got thoughts on that too… i.e. most that honorable stuff came into being AFTER the country was united and under one ruler.
