Azubuike_0607_800x600_medium

You know everyone has been saying lots of great things about this Azubuike and I really like him too. After last nights game I was wondering how much potential this guy truly has.

What do you guys think? Does he have the capability to be an allstar ? Perhaps maybe a league mvp someday? (lol)

regardless im a huge fan

put together this tribute for him to "judy is a punk" after he BUIKAKED Jones last night..

Azubuike is a Punk

Quite good and getting better. You need another choice between the same and allstar, Like 90% of the players Kabuki can get much better but not be an allstar.

exactly

Buike can be great, really great. But still never elected to an All-Star game. Which is fine with me, as long as he gets to average 17pts a night.

Above average

I like his increased aggressiveness this year, but I still don’t see him becoming a big star. Maybe he could be a solid starter like a Boris Diaw. He definitely has an upside, but not quite all-star caliber. I wouldn’t say that to his face though, he could squish my head like a melon.

Good starter or backup, depending on which team.

I don’t see him ever becoming an All-star, though. He could be, if he shot a better percentage and made better decisions on the court. He’s still a great player to have though.

this is gonna make a lot of people mad

but i think he can be as good as jrich: just not good enough to be an all star

this is gonna make a lot of people mad?

Kellena becoming as good as Jrich would make a lot of people very happy

<3 JRICH AND KAZ

Both are my all time favorite players. It makes me so happy that Kelenna is improving to be as good as JRich

If Brandan Wright...

gets more burn, then I can see him becoming MIP this year.

Great Fit in Nelli Ball

If he can work on that 3-point stroke he will be a huge weapon that other teams have to worry about every single game

by Warriorfan on Nov 6, 2008 9:32 PM PST reply actions

He will never be an all-star in the West.

If Monta can’t how can Buike be? Buike is good, but we don’t know yet if he’s a system player just like Monta.

Hasheem "The Beat" Thabeet or Brandon Jennings. A Warrior in 09.

this was going to be the year

that monta could have been an all-star. but then he had to go and take his moped to 7-11 or some crap… he probably looked like napoleon dynamite testing some sweet jumps on that bad boy…

“System player”?

buikes just sick

buike just bulls, hustles, flexes, just has a great attitude and is a D-league story! Just a great guy to have coming off the bench I think he has a shot at 6th man of the year this year!

by FeartheBeard4 on Nov 6, 2008 9:38 PM PST reply actions

he will be a good player

i don’t ever believe he will be a j-rich but he will be good.

by Agent Zero on Nov 6, 2008 9:51 PM PST reply actions

solid starter

Potentially, he’s the kind of guy that will make around $5-7M and be a good deal at the price. Like a Posey, Battier, Haslem. Someone who doesn’t stand out night in night out but definitely a valuable player on your team and doesn’t command alot of salary or attention. Just gets his job done.

pretty good

he seems to be an over rated outside shooter. since the second half of last year and so far this year he’s been throwing up a lot of bricks from the 3 point line. i’d love to see him become maggette-lite. he has the same build and is a good finisher at the rim. his defense is a nice addition as well, i think that’s an under rated aspect of his game

by AJC3317 on Nov 6, 2008 11:45 PM PST reply actions

love him

i’ve loved him ever since last season’s opener when he came out of nowhere to score like 30 pts. it sucked he had injuries that no one really knew about last yr. they slowed him down. he’s gonna have a breakthrough season. he’s underrated and AMAZING. i even made a poster of him and hung it in my room. i remember i wanted to get his jersey all of last season but they never had it. im about to get one asap!! :D BICEPS BUIKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

by goldenstatelove on Nov 7, 2008 12:58 AM PST reply actions

He has the potential to be 6th man of the year.

Rebounds really well, can knock down the 3 and the 18 foot jumper, also can take it to the hole and finish strong.

All around solid player.

and the most importan thing

he has nellie’s trust

you forgot to mention his defense, while not stellar, he is a solid defender…

Ellis to the rim.

Buke is strapped with gatz.

Everyone on the court fears his gunz.

Fool is ripped cuz of his exercise and diet. He steals DeMarcus Nelson’s lunch everyday = Bud’s Burger.

k. that was just dumb.

WHAT U SMOKIN??!!?
