Don't get discouraged Warrior Fans
We've caught a horrible string of bad luck. Its not Nellys fault, or Mullins, or Rowells, or any of the youngsters fault.
Its no ones fault that 3 of our 5 starters are out with either injurys or hurt emotions (harrington). Who could have called it? If we had our main 5 guys starting, with Turiaf, Buke, and the young guns coming off the bench, we would be a legit playoff contender in the West.
#1 - We need to get Maggette back. Even though he has struggled, he's still a very decent defender, and another main scoring option. He would give this team a big boost obviously. Without him, Warriors can't even beat the.... well.. lets just say the Grizzlies and Kings.
#2 - Get rid of Harrington ASAP! He brings bad morale to the team. He needs to be gone. Hopefully we can pull a decent deal pretty quick for Lee or Wallace.
Look, these are 2 obvious answers to the Warriors woes, but they are the ONLY answers. Without legit players, we can't win PERIOD.
BUT.....
This time hasn't all been a waste. Nelly has been forced to look at the youngsters, so now he can see who he can utilize when, further into the season when the Vets return. If we can stay affloat with the youngsters getting PT, Watch out when everyone gets healthy. Athletic Vets starting, and young athletic studs coming off the bench. A perfect recipe for Nelly ball.
Call me Crazy. Call this a wasted post. But these are tough times Warrior fans. We all are a little discouraged about our beloved Dubs. But we must realize the Season is not even close to over, and the Dubs WILL resurrect.
Patience.... Patience.... AAAARRRRRGGGGGH!!!!..... Patience

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
It’s crazy how moods change for fans… if we’re winning of course, people will have posts on what will make us even better and or talk about playoffs early in the season lol… some even championships! But when we’re losing, it’s a different story and the posts become more frustrating than negative which is totally understandable… I don’t know what to think yet… I’m just excited that the 1st game of the season for me and the wifey is Thursday!

I'm fine with the way things are
I mean, once we learned Monta got injured, my gut told me we’re not going to sniff the playoffs let alone a .500 record. I want Nellie to play the young guys. Let me rephrase, I want Nellie to play the young guys we invested in and/or gave up something for. That means, I’m not so interested in seeing CJ Watson or DeMarcus Nelson out there for prolonged minutes unless things get really ugly, which they have even with those two in. I want to see tons of Wright, Marco, Marcus Williams, and Randolph. I don’t care if we get blown out. Get these guys game experience. I was encouraged by the last couple games of how Nellie played the young guys. I think Marco and Williams should get more PT than DeMarcus Nelson and CJ Watson though (even though CJ has been pretty impressive).

let task the whole season
just to get Ricky Rubio in this yr draft. shit were not going to make the playoff anyways. If that don’t doesn’t works we trade Action jackson for a good pg. It might be crazy, it could work.

Lest we forget, we’re ahead of our pace from a year ago, when we won 48 games. I don’t think this team is nearly as good as that team, but I certainly don’t think it’s a 24-58 team, either. This will be a credible team.

What a bunch of whiners!
Personally I think it is fantastic Nellie is playing the youngsters, why?
This is a time where he can afford to lose a few games. Hell, numerous other teams are having horrible results as well and Nellie see’s that.
This is the opportunity to truly assess which of the young guys can hack it in the NBA on a winning team.
Nellie (I think) has realised that we might have a shot at playoffs afterall. Therefore with Monta, Magette and possible new vet coming soon in replacement of Harrington, we could very well have a strong lineup that will be boosted superbly with a selection from the bench.
We saw last year how we fell toward the end of the season due to tired legs. If we have a truly on form starting lineup combined with an equally strong bench, probably Buike, Randolph, Wright, Turiaf and CJ/Williams/Nelson……we might just have the depth to go long into the playoffs!
Another reason why to do it now?
He might just have to include one or two youngsters with Harrington in a trade and so he needs to know NOW who he does not want to lose….
So we lose a few games…SO WHAT!!!!!!!!
as long as we are keeping pace with the other Western Conf teams, I am happy!

That might be the funniest thing I’ve read all season. Compare this team to our 2007 playoff team which only got to the second round and tell me why you think it is better?

Well...
We have Randolph, Hendrix… And Monta, Beans, Wright, CJ, and Belinelli are all a year older. They can’t be worse, right? Plus, Randolph is the second coming of KG, but better in every way. You’ll see.

Very simple....
And considering the rest of the crap that often put on this board, you consider this the funniest? You need to reread some of your own comments!
My thoughts as clearly pointed out if you bothered to consider my whole response, was that this Western Conference is not anywhere near as good as last year, nor the year before that.
Therefore IF we get Monta back, Williams, Magette, a new VET and the youngsters all learn the plays, give up less turnovers and we start scoring big again, THEN….we just might go long.
Dont be so blinkered to think that Baron and Co was the best we are ever going to have. I genuinely believe that once this team gels, (which it is far from now) it could make a very serious hard charge for the 2nd half of the year.
For example this is why my thoughts were such: 2007/08 versus 2008/09 squad!
Baron Davis – CJ Watson (Worse)
Troy Hudson – Marcus Williams (better)
Monta Ellis – SAME
Marco Belinelli – SAME
Kelenna Azubuike – SAME (But Better this year)
Stephen Jackson – SAME
Matt Barnes – Corey Magette (Better)
Mickael Pietrus – Anthony Randolph (No doubt better, just needs time)
Al Harrington – Meh! (Will be better when we get a replacement)
Brandan Wright – SAME (But is better)
Austin Croshere – Ronny Turiaf (Better)
Andris Biedrins – SAME (But is better)
Patrick O’Bryant – Demarcus Nelson (different roles but same potential)
Kosta Perovic – Richard Hendrix (already better but needs time)
Plus
Morrow and Kurz who I suspect we will lose, but add elements.
Thats why I think it has depth, sorry if you dont agree with that, but I really could not care less.

Mike Pietrus contributed 20 minutes a night and was a good defender when he was in
Randolph will not, and when he does he won’t be at all useful this year.
Your comparing PoB to Nelson is laughable. You’re comparing a lifetime benchwarmer to the day 1 starting PG. Sorry, that doesn’t cut it. You vastly underrate the effect of BD, and you vastly overrate the capabilities of the youngsters. We went from having 9-10 veterans to 7 (3 of which are injured). You’re basing your expectations of the youngsters as they’re all “as advertised”, which they’re not. Randolph is not going to morph into KG/Prince with awesome handles tomorrow, if ever. We have no depth, we didn’t have much last year, but this year we’re one step away from Memphis.

If we miss out on the playoffs, luck into the #1 pick and convince the Cavs that they're going to lose LeBron so they should trade him for our #1 draft pick and Al (post draft for cap purposes)...
We’ll be awesome!!! We’d have that oversized distributor to pair with Monta:
Starters:
Monta
LBJ
Jax
Maggs
Beans
Bench:
CJ
Turiaf
…
Who cares!!! We’d have LBJ!

Yeah like this
http://www.goldenstateofmind.com/2008/11/6/655468/warrior-girls
It’s somehow the front office’s fault that the Warriors Girls routines aren’t exotic enough to satisfy your testosterone-induced desires? Seriously, when your best player is injured till January, a disgruntled starter wants out, the emotional leader is demanding an extension, and we’re getting blown out by the Grizzlies and Kings do you honestly think the front office cares one iota about the Warriors Girls not satisfying your urges?

Read all the comments on the free ticket post before you try to make weak attacks.
When you get a popup on your computer saying you won a free laptop do you jump up and down in joy. Hopefully, not because you know the world doesn’t work that way and things don’t fall in your lap without you working for them. Sometimes people like NIIIIIICE bless us with their immense generosity but to think that this is the norm is only fooling yourself. And somehow I don’t feel offended when someone who thinks it is worthwhile to complain about the Warrior Girls with the teams current problems tells me to get a life.

They are struggling right now, but, after Al gets traded for someone worth while (not for any ol’ garbage) and Mags get back the Warriors will hold their own. Then when Monta gets back…… BETTA WATCH OUT!!!
