OT: J-Rich traded to Phoenix (dprodigy19)
Credible source says Jason Richardson to Suns (Bright Side of the Sun)

Grant Hill, Leandro Barbose, Matt Barnes, Robin Lopez, Amare Stoudemire, Shaq, Steve Nash... AND J-Rich?! How can you not root for the Suns to finish 2nd to the Warriors this season in the West?

I guess I won't be going to the Bobcats-Warriors game this season. Just kidding.

YAY!!!

I was so happy when I read this on ESPN. After that magical run with the Dubs, it was a slap in the face for him to have to be with a garbage organization. Now he’ll be back to the playoffs! GO JRICH!!!

Go J-Rich!

Now he can finally get recognized by the whole NBA as the great player that he is and get back to the playoffs. Great trade for him and the Suns. My second favorite team because now they got my favorite player.

good for him man.

i really dont like shaq. not a fan of steve nash either (cant really explain why).

but with matt barnes and j-rich, i hope they win it all. those guys were good to us (being the fans), and they deserve our support.

YESSS!!!!

Great to see my favorite player of all time finally going to a playoff team again! Man, J-Rich and Nash in the backcourt?! It won’t be as entertaining as Boom Rich, but it will still be fun to watch. Also, Jason has never played with a great big man like Amare Stoudemire before, so it’ll be fun seeing them play together.

J-Rich still has to work on his handles and his defense, but i’m still very happy for him. He’ll have a great time in Phoenix, and i’ll officially be rooting for them except for when they’re playing against the Warriors. =]

Oh yeah, and a random thought. Imagine if the Warriors somehow made the playoffs and played the Suns in the postseason. haha.

Put this down

Shouldn’t go on top of the open thread.

Now I have useless Charlotte tickets.

But good for JRich. Going to a playoff team! He’s still my number one <3

Warrior Fans Have To Love This:

J-Rich deserves to run with Nash, Stoudamire and Shaq!!!! Each of those players were available to the Dubs…And now, they get to run together. WHAT A SQUAD!!!!!! 4 of my top 4 non W’s are on that team…I think I am stoked for the Suns!!!

But when they start scheming us the way these guys did, and we weren't particularly ready for it, anything can happen."

If Jason makes the playoffs

It’ll be like seeing the Warriors in the playoffs. =]

I spent 6 years of my life watching Jason strive to try to give this team a playoff berth. So many years of disappointment. Seeing Jason in the postseason would be great.
