I'm in a Christmas kind of mood - who wants tickets for tonight?

I like to read all the posts on Golden State of Mind religiously, but I never really do post. However, when you do see my name, you know that I'm probably giving away some tickets. It's hard to see the Warriors still struggling, but it's good to know that there are still some fans out there with some faith. And since Christmas is coming up, I would like to give away some tickets for tonight. Last time, I tried to give away some tickets to the moderators, but today I will offer it to any GSOM member who is actually reading this post this early in the morning freezing their hands off.

This is all in good fun so creative answers will probably get some tickets. Funny answers are always good too.

I am not a fairweather fan and wagoneer and because I want to see Stalone catch a fire, AR and BW to stuff people, see SJax take more 3’s, and cheer when Andris makes clutch free throws (which imo are equivelant to 3PTers)

they have more guards than Buckingham Palace :-)
and I’ve been a Hard Core Dubs fan since 1970 and have a foto with me as a kid being hugged by Franklin Meuli !

I still believe in the warriors because...

we have SOOOO much potential in many of our players that i KNOW will start blossoming once ellis is back!

AR – i think can be a superstar
WRIGHT – i think can be as good as beans
BEANS – i think can be an ALL STAR THIS YEAR
Ellis – the highest potential player to come through the warriors franchise in a very long time IMO
Morrow – a future all star sniper if he can learn to drive and dish

and also i really like two of our ‘veterans’

I Still Believe in the Warriors because...

I was there for them in the Tony Farmer, Melvin Booker, Terry Cummings, Duanne Furrelll, Bill Curley days. There are always going to be those dry spells. The Warriors just seem to always be in one, but for some reason, I still watch every game till the end. I’ve been going to games since the first drought started and still share season tickets. I’ve stuck through and backed the warriors through the thick and thin and will never stop!!.

I remember billy owen, tom guggliotta and todd fuller. And as bad is it may seem, this team has more talent than almost all the teams of the 90s and is more entertaining to watch than any team in the league.

I still believe in the Warriors...

because I’ve endured this type of losing before the miraculous “We Believe” season. I’ve been a fan since I was old enough to walk up to the t.v. and change the channel to KICU or Channel 5 to watch RUN TMC. I was still around when we traded Tim Hardaway (my favorite Warrior of all time) and Chris Gatling for a Bimbo and Kevin Willis, and I was watching every minute when John Starks would try and bring us back from a deficit, only to miss shots. I’m not doing this for the tickets… but I’m doing this to reminisce about how strong my loyalty is to a predominantly losing team.

I believe in the warriors because

i’ve never known anything but warriors basketball. Watching a jax/beans pick n roll is quite possibly the prettiest thing this group can do on the court. Seeing how I finished up finals last week I would love to get out and cheer on our boys!!
