Once upon a time....
....Buike was gonna fill JRich's shoes. Some even claimed he would be better. Well, he chose to fill Maggette's shoes instead.
....Stephen Jackson was this indespensable player that we could not win a game with out him. Now, it seems like on most nights we have a better chance of winning without him.
....Belinelli and Wright might have the makings of NBA stars. Now, the coach is saying they barely have the makings of an NBA ready player.
....one PG was all we had, and, despite some huffing and puffing, all we needed. We currently have 4 yet none really fits our need.
....Al Harrington sucked. He was just named the player of the week posting numbers like 30 points and 13 rebounds.
....inconsistency was our problem. This year, that's the least of our problems as we've been nothing but consistent this season. Consistently suck, that is.
....there's nothing more beautiful than a Warriors fastbreak. This year, the only thing more dreadful to watch than a Warriors fastbreak is a Corey Maggette wide open airball.
....all we needed was 1 player to run a break. This year, 4 players against 2 couldn't even get it done.
....we were building for financial flexibility. That went down the drain quicker than a Monta Ellis fastbreak.
....we used to scratch our heads why Croshere gets to play ahead of everybody else. Now, we scratch our heads why Kurz gets to play ahead everybody else. Some things never change.
....we were a playoff team by definition. Now, we are a development team by definition. Either defined by the fact that this team is full of players that needs to be developed. Or by the fact that we're host to 2 ex-DLeague players, 2 current ones, and 2 more that probably would be playing there if we didn't decide to pick them up.
....we were Scrappy. Then someone decided to drop the S.
It seems like someone was just sprinkling pixie dust the last couple of years and now, we've ran out of it.

that's probably not true
"If you hit .440 with 20 bombs, you don't have to do s---. You don't have to bring a glove to practice, just hit and leave whenever you want. You can bring a 40 and smoke a cigarette and call me from the parking lot asking me what time the game is, and I'll tell you. You can even say 'F--- you, Steve!' Actually, don't say that, that wouldn't be very nice." -Steve Friend, Head Coach, Chabot College Gladiators Baseball

Unfortunately...when the master builder.....
Has forgotten how to use Bricks and Mortar, it makes rebuilding all the more difficult!

fans didn’t act like little girls while their team rebuilt.
first, did we really need to???
second, a picture of rebuilding teams and their cap status.
Chicago
2010/2011 – $27,205,850
They can build around Rose, Deng, Hinrich.
Detroit
2009/2010 – $33,093,746
2010/2011 – $11,148,760
This year they’re a playoff contender. After this year they can complete remake the team and build around Prince, Stuckey, Maxiell (he signed an extension right?)
Memphis
2009/2010 – $36,274,350
2010/2011 – $26,250,277
They can build around Gay and Mayo. The only existing unwanted contract they’ll have by 2010/2011 will be Marco Jaric.
Minnesota
2010/2011 – $15,700,000
Build around Foye, Jefferson, Love
New York
2010/2011 – $18,160,263
They can build around LeBron. lol
Oklahoma City
2009/2010 – $30,126,888
2010/2011 – $7,685,484
Build around Durant, Westbrook, Green
Portland
2010/2011 – $7,405,300
They’re gonna have to re-sign Roy and Aldridge but they should still have room to work with after. Not to mention Oden, Bayless, Fernandez would be in rookie contracts.
Toronto and Sacramento have also made room starting 2010/2011.
Here’s the Warriors Cap Status for the next couple of years:
2009/2010 – $59,276,571
2010/2011 – $55,494,000
2011/2012 – $43,882,069
2012/2013 – $40,984,138
2013/2014 – $20,000,000
In 2011/2012 when we finally go under the cap, we’ll have to consider resigning Brandan Wright and Marco Belinelli. We lose Crawford that year.
So we make our big splash in 2013/2014 when we only have Monta and Biedrins in the books. Oh, wait, those are player options. Hmmm…. better cross your fingers on that one.
You’re fooling yourself if you think we’re rebuilding. We’re not, unless we somehow move Maggette and Jackson we’re not rebuilding. We’re just waiting and hoping for the development of our young players and by that I mean the likes of Brandan Wright, Anthony Randolph, and Marco Belinelli. So if and when they ever achieve their potential we finally have a team that can contend. But even in a year where we’re deemed not to make the playoffs, they still can’t buy consistent playing time. Let’s just hope, that next year the latest, they’re finally “ready to contribute”

He got a green splat because it was a pointed, accurate response to a stupid wannabe tough guy who clearly doesn't know what "rebuilding is"
Frankly, he could have got the point over by simply saying “rebuilding teams don’t sign 29 and 30 year olds to massive extensions”.

he is just another angry Warrior/LA Fan
so because I prefer seeing the Warriors win, I’m a Lakers fan by default?
I understand you’re gonna have to have a tough stomach to be a Warriors fan. I didn’t know you have to be a loser too.

It's so frusterating
How many good players have come… and gone.
Remember when we had Arenas, J-Rich, and Jamison
Remember when we were the most exciting team in the NBA… then we got rid of Davis, Richardson, and Barnes. I don’t understand why we didn’t keep that playoff team together. We were a young team on the rise, finally getting good, then we got younger.
We’ve been a young team for too long. Ever since Run TMC the warriors have taken one step farward and two steps back. We have some really good young players right now. Let’s hope the management can get it right this time.

Another confused Warrior Fan.
Write this down:
Davis made himself leave. Feuded with the coach ( He already is fighting with Mike Dunleavy in LA ).
Richardson was impeading the progress of Monta Ellis.
Barnes sucked alot, and I mean alot last year. He made it impossible to resign him. Glad he is doing well though.
Jamison gave the best shot he could with the Warriors (thanks Gary St. Jean) and was finaly let go for a playoff team ( Dallas at the time ). Very similar to a Kevin Garnett situation.
Arenas was a lamer. We wanted to sign him, but because of salary cap rules we couldnt offer him a max contract. Arenas and his dad once lived in a car. So yeah, when someone waved the chedda in his face, it was see ya later!
So you see, were not letting people go, things just happen.

…its just so sad….
When Maggette missed those consecutive shots in a span of a humming bird’s flap,
Crawford simply looked at the bench and said, "Are you serious?"
