Whatchu talking bout Willis? Well I'm talking about the 49ers' budding superstar Patrick Willis and the facts back it up. Despite coming from very humble beginnings, you can tell Willis was raised right. During his two years in SF he's proven to be a very classy and hard working individual. The Niners aren't making the playoffs (again), but it's not because of Willis. NFL announces Pro Bowl Rosters: LB Patrick Willis selected as starter [Niners Nation]

The reality is...he had an off year compared to last year.

Numbers
His numbers are down from last year in large part due to an improved 49ers ball-control offense and some improved play-makers on defense. The addition of Takeo Spikes is an improvement over Derek Smith and thus he’s taking some of Bamm Bamm’s tackles.
If you look at the 49ers last three games, they had the ball for 30+ minutes against the Bills, 39+ minutes against the Jets and 38+ minutes against the Dolphins. More time for the offense means less time for Willis to get tackles. I think he’s still the same playmaker, it’s just improvements elsewhere have shaded things a bit differently. Of course, given his performance last year, there really is nowhere to go but down. However, I wouldn’t say “off year.”

Mike Singletary
really helped shape Willis into what he is now (same thing with Ray Lewis)
But I have high hopes for the Niners in the coming future.
Also please take out Barry Sims out of the Offensive line…4 out 5 penalties come from him and he cannot block! Letting our QB get sacked.
Also, I’m glad our offense are more on the field now because a sometime ago our defense was on the field a LOT! making them tired. I just hope we have a better offensive line and can score
I will always be your fan JRich. Good Luck

P-Wilz!
His numbers are down from last year but he still defines what a beast is. Always love to watch this cat play.
Go Niners still.

He's good and all
But it was tacky when Florida copied the “Chuck Norris facts”, it’s even lamer to be the 3rd (or 4th, or whatever it happens to be) guy to the party.
Patrick Willis is a great football player. You don’t need to copycat some stupid joke about some other dude to make him cooler or whatever.

![2k8 has not been kind to the Oakland Raiders, but if there's any silver lining it's the proper recognition cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha is finally getting around the NFL. You can't help but respect and appreciate a guy who plays so hard despite his team's constant struggles and even comes on Bay Area sportscaster legend's Raj Mathai's Sports Sunday show to talk shop after tough losses. Nnamdi Asomugha is the ultimate professional and his first bowl selection is a well-deserved if not belated honor.
