Rookies vs Sophmores All Star Weekend.

Could we see a few of our warrior players at all star weekend in the rookie vs sophmore game?

If Belinelli keeps up his play that he has been doing latley up until the all star break he should get consideration to play on the sophmore team. I mean if it were not for the limited minutes he had early in the season where he had games on where he scored 2, 4, or even sometimes 0 his average would be up around 10ppg right now.

Also Brandon Wright but Nelson will never play him consistant minutes where he could shine.

Along with Belinelli, I think morrow will defenatly get consideration to make the rookie team because a lot of people around the league know about his story and two great games he had. Not to mention he is still averaging around 10ppg. If he could get around 12ppg I think he would get in for sure.

Here are some canidates for the upcomming game from this website:  http://my.nba.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5700027997:

PG : Derrick Rose - 6'3" 190lbs----------PG : Ramon Session 6'3" 190lbs

2C : Brook Lopez 7'0" 260lbs------------2C : Al Horford 6'10 245lbs
2PF : Jason Thompson 6'11" 250lbs----2PF :Jeff Green 6'9 235lbs

i think

chances are zero. last year’s roookie team will make this year’s sophmore team.

and our rookies have no chance whatsoever.

Oden

i would think oden should be on it i just took the list from the website listed and that what they had.

rookies, that list is gonna be hard for Morrow to crack and now that Eric Gordon is starting and putting up #‘s – even harder – and that list doesn’t have Mario Chalmers or George Hill on it. even guys like Kevin Love & Darrell Arthur probably have a better shot. actually i’d be mildly shocked if Oden isn’t on that team.

as long as Maggette is out, despite the lower #‘s (of the 2) i think Marco’s got a better shot (the G positions aren’t littered with name players) , seeing as how it looks like he’s now moved ahead of Morrow on the depth chart. still for the sophs, that list doesn’t have Rodney Stuckey or Carl Landry or Yi on it.

nah

I dont think we have a shot unless Morrow or Belinelli really light it up now.

Oden, however, is in. Stern always makes sure the young faces of the game get their time all star weekend one way or the other.

If belinelli plays on the sophmore team, hes going to be one of the top scorers

by Marco Belinelli on Dec 18, 2008 11:43 AM PST reply actions   0 recs

i doubt anyone would pass it to him. Durant, Green, Thornton, the Youngs, Stuckey. they’re all going to be ball hogging it to get that MVP.

no warriors…. :-)

if bwright of bellinelli got consistant minutes they could make it. Whats funny is i look at the team and i wonder if al thorton, wilson chandler, thaddues young, jason thompson would make it if they werew warriors… probably not cause nellie wouldnt give them 25+ mins a game

and that is where the problem lies cause thing is, i think bwright is ok, and randolph is good enough…. but i dont KNOW for certain…. we need to see em play consistant. Id be surpirsed if mullin or the front office hasnt told nellie to give em some more minutes….

until mags is back…..

crawford 30
bellinelli 30
jack 37
bwright 25
biedrins 34
——-
cj 20
morrow 15
buke 21
randolph 18
turiaf 16

you telling me this rotiation couldnt happen…. atleast kids like randolph and wright will play w/ heart

i’m pretty sure the 4 you listed would play for Nellie, a couple of them are much older and they all have man sized bodies instead of toothpick frames and outside of maybe Young, can all shoot from outside.

BW should be getting more burn, but watching Randolph play makes me wonder if he just started playing basketball 3 or 4 years ago. he reminds me of those little kids who all chase after the ball and have no idea what’s happening.

since the OKC game bellinelli.......

last 6 games…. he’s been averaging 26.7 mins, 15 ppg, 2.5 apg, 3.3 rpg, 53.7% from field, 42.3% 3p%…

15 assist, 9 TO, 20 rebs, fg 36-67, 3p 11-26

and really last 2 games hes got real extended runs and its been 20 ppg and 4 apg and 5 rpg

why would we trade him for another SG :-D

This retarded man always want to do trade marco

What do you think he can trade for?The one have to go is maggette and not marco.Maybe williams and magg can be packed and leave cj as substitute for pg,morrow be substitute for f/g.
This guy is annoying, whether we say marco has good performance,he said he can trade someone we need and marco is a surplus. But who can we trade and marco worth the W’s to keep him in the team.
Compare with other guards, marco shouldn’t and wouldn’t have go.Can this fucking retarded man shut the fuck off?

+1

we NEED to shave mags, crawford or jacks contract…

i see mags as most in need to leave (but probably hardest to move).

atleast monta, crawford, jack all can pass/move/try to be team players…

i’d take anything expiring for mags….
