Stojackovic

Whatup G State. I know that my juju and mike james deal was pretty popular, but as the Horents are currently enjoying the expolits of Mr. Antonio Daniels (who btw is an instant hit. D oyu think that is because he is really good, or because Mike James was really bad, but I digress), we no longer have any sizable 2010 contracts. The only one we have of some value is linked to Rasual Butler, who I think would work with you guys, but currently he is helping our squad out alot.

So here's my trade idea, and Iwill try to make it long so as to not be banned from this site as my prior attempt to post this was rebuked. Peja and a first for Azubuike and Maggette. We needBuike's contract for the deal to go through, and the Hornets still need a backup big, which Ithink we could get with Buike's contract in a three way deal. Josh Boon in particular comes to mind, and it would be interesting to see the old UConn front court back togeother giving us some  youth and length. I know Peja is old and this does nothing for your hopes of getting down under the red for 2010,but I was wondering how unpoular Maggs is.

I guess it goes without saying that Peja, like Juju is just about perfect for Nellie Ball as he is still the best 3 point shooter in the game and he would instantly become your best, most consisten perimeter threat. He also is amazing as a zone busterand would really help keepdefendersfrom colapsing on Monta or Jax, or or any of the other drivers that you will still have. It would be really interesting for me to see Peja playing in a game with the pace that Nellie's club would have. But like I said, he's old and expensive, and his D is as bad as Maggs if not worse, as is his proclivity for being injured.

Not that you are interested but I really think a Maggs trade would make the Hornets conteners for the next three years. We would start Pose and Sual on the wings, and essentially play a defense first efficient shot, smart occasional fast break game predicated on the pick and roll, three pointer, and excellent team d. Then we bring Maggette in to anihilate the second string scrubs. Just constantly feed him the ball till his chucker's heart is content. He'd be surrounded by a facilitaror (Daniels) and adequate and active defenders and rebounders who would be happy to let him take all of the shots. Not a player on the Hornets bench likes to shoot other then Devin Brown. This would slow the game down for the starters to catch a breath and would also put opposing teams in fear of losing their starters to foul trouble should they risk putting any of theim against Maggs. Something I have noticed is that most all championship teams draw fouls at a high rate, something we don't do. Problem solved with Corey.

Anyway I hope that is long enough. Thoughts?

YES

I WOULD DO THIS

When Maggette missed those consecutive shots in a span of a humming bird’s flap,
Crawford simply looked at the bench and said, "Are you serious?"

I love Peja Stojakovic

so I’d rather see him with a title with you guys.

I would do this.

Get the Maggette’s out of Oakland asap.

Warriors, Stupidest franchise in the league.

dude, peja? no

he’s a worse rebounder and defender than corey. which is what we need if we trade maggs.

worse rebounder?

I’m not so sure about that. They are both actually pretty good rebounding 3’s.

from a warriors pesrpective

this is a horrible deal. i thought some of you guys were smarter. at the guys above. this would make us much worse. maggette can move his legs and play a little d. peja can not. corey can score consistently, peja can not. then you take away buike who’s only 24 and still learning how to play with tons of potential. that would be damn stupid

id do

anything to get rid of maggs, even if its maggs for a first round draft pick.

what?

corey can play a little d? I havent seen that so far in his time with the dubs…..or in his time with the Clippers…..or in his time with Orlando……or in his time at Duke.

I'd do it easily

Losing Maggs is addition by subtraction and the money saved could help actually get FA’s in 2011, which is the next time the W’s have a shot at having cap space.

yea we dont really have a shot at any big 2010 FA’s that shouldnt be our target.
