Shout out to Jamal Crawford for shooting the lights out tonight:
14-26 FG (5-8 3pt) + 17-18 FT = 50 points!

We need some new nicknames for Crawford in honor of the big 5-OH ma god! Half-Wilt? Wilt 0.5? 50 Craw? Golden 50? Drop your nicknames in the comments.

I really wish

he was scoring 25 pts a night consistantly (efficiently as well). I’d take that over a random 40/50 pt game after shooting horrendously the previous 2-3. I’m glad to see we’re going to the guy for a majority of the pts though, he’s the only one who should be doing that on the team.

I completely agree. How frustrating is it seeing someone with Crawford’s skill set constantly get the step on his defender, drive two feet past him and then pull up for a mid-range jumper out of rhythm? He’s perfectly capable of getting to the rim with relative regularity, but for some reason chooses to rely on what could generously be called an inconsistent jumper. And seeing him nearly shoot the Warriors out of this game in order to get the 50 was pretty disturbing too. He could be such a good PG if he really wanted to. Unfortunately he has just enough success to convince him that the way he’s playing is maximizing his talent.

i dont think he almost shot us out the game, he was givin open lanes or jumpers almost all game.

plus some generous foul calls that he capatalized on, i didnt think he was just shooting to up his stats at all, other than his normal stupid shots. It was a pretty quit 50 and not at the expense of the team.

how about

please start shooting consistantly so that u can score more than 10 points next game

by AJC3317 on Dec 21, 2008 2:05 AM PST reply actions

Mr. Please start shhoting consistently so you can score around 20 a game instead of 10 for 3 games and then 40/50 the next game

I liked yours the best, just revised a bit

What is the status of our petitions to fire Robert Rowell and have Chris Cohan commit Hari Kiri, or at least sell the team?

I just realized

this is the first time a warrior has scored 50 since Jamison did it 8 years ago. 8!! Where have the years gone….

by racsan on Dec 21, 2008 2:13 AM PST reply actions

wow..

coulda swore maybe either J-Rich or Baron had at least 1 each..

by NIKKOFRANCHISE on Dec 21, 2008 2:25 AM PST up reply actions

or one second thought..

that coulda been me playing NBA 2k9.. because I also recall J-Rich having a 113-point/0-assist game

by NIKKOFRANCHISE on Dec 21, 2008 2:28 AM PST up reply actions

how did you possibly do that?

I mean you must have accidently passed the pass button once right? And 113 points? Were you playing the Thunder or something?

We still believe!!

What does this mean?

I’m glad Crawford scored 50 points, but it took Crawford 50 points for the Warriors to beat the BOBCATS…not being negative, I was juiced he scored 50, just saying.

If I am wrong i will respond with a D'Oh

Atma,

I like Wilt 0.5, but seriously if he really was 1/2 of Wilt or even 1/4 of wilt he would be the best player on our squad.

50 six

That’s my nickname for him. Then again, I saw him do one of the sickest moves ever when he was in HS up in Seattle. He crossed the ball throw a defenders legs back to him then wrapped behind his back and nailed a three. My cousin was the guy guarding him and he swear Jamal winked at him before nailing the three. I’ve always though of him as Crawf’s Killer Cross.

A Sonics fan without a team.. Though I'm auditioning GS Warriors this season.
