I write this because I feel as though I've done good and charitable deeds this year. For example, have I not ALWAYS complimented my mom on her cooking? Have I not ALWAYS graciously said "no sorry" to the hobo's in San Francisco instead of just ignoring them? Sure my DUI didn't help and sure I was put on probation from work due to "racially insensitive comments" but honestly they had it coming. In any event I'd like to ask for one small thing to make up for the past years of disappointing presents:
Please make the Warriors win tonight? The Celtics are coming off their first loss in 100 games and they'll want to get back on track with a win in our house tonight. Seeing as though we've lost 20 games in a row can't you just help us out on this one? I've left you cookies and milk by my fake fireplace this morning. The milk is 100% fat free and lactose free because I care about your health and the cookies are store bought because the last batch I made by myself gave someone diarrhea. More signs that I care!
Santa without your help here are my realistic predictions:
- Warriors lose by 14.
- Garnett and Pierce will combine for over 50 points.
- Crawford, Jackson, Ellis, and Maggette won't even bother coming tonight.
- Boston sits all their starters by the start of the fourth.
- Randolph and Wright get extended minutes to show nothing.

Team defense...
is a mental commitment. Glad to see Smart and Montcrief doing something about it. They did a much better job on Rondo this time instead of just letting him waltz to the rim. CJ needs to really commit player tendencies to memory. He gets beat ALL the time by quick guards. Playing them for the drive is much better than playing them for the shot at that level.

What people don’t understand is that it’s not like we (or me personally) want Nelson to fail. When he does good I’m not going to deny it. What I’ve said is that he is not the right coach for this roster. One win won’t change that. If we had our 2006-2007 team I would not be a Nellie “hater” because a team of experienced players is what he needs to fit his system. His problem is he won’t change his system if it doesn’t fit the players.

Officiating blamed
According to one (I think Avery), he said it was the officiating that helped us. Natrually he didn’t talk about beans being smothered all the time with no calls.
That crap always happens
We never got any real recognition up until our playoff performance. Even when we did good, no one cared about the Warriors until they surprised everyone in the Playoffs.
Baron Davis:
36 points, 18 assists and 8 rebounds against the Sacramento Kings. Ron Artest was playing.
What was the media’s response?
“Everyone plays that good at home. The Sacramento Kings are not a good defensive team, this type of performance is common in a Kings game”.
And then a week later. Steve Nash:
11 points, 21 assists against the Sacramento Kings. Ron Artest WASN’T playing.
What was the media’s response?
“Wow! This is why Steve Nash is the reigning NBA MVP, 21 assists is a very tough feat to do in an NBA game. This performance shows why Nash is the best point guard in the NBA”.
I remember being hella pissed at that time. Warriors barely got recognition at all. Even early in the 06-07 season when Monta, Barnes and Biedrins were getting their names buzzing a little bit, fans of other teams were saying crap like, “Who cares about them, the Warriors can have 3 most improved players on their team and they STILL won’t make the playoffs”.

The C’s got A LOT of non-calls on defense. They hack and strip and foul a lot, but don’t get called on a lot of them.
I think the 4th quarter we saw more calls go the W’s way. But take out that 4th quarter we’d all be screaming bloody murder for the non-calls on the Celtics.

Officiating
Man, officiating in the NBA is the suck right now. Perhaps it is time to add more refs into the game or something. The beans fouls that were not called annoyed me (even though he couldn’t make his fts again), but it finally balanced out with the marco drawn fouls/charges.
Now its the LAKERS!! I hope our D's stays the same

I hate to admit it
but I took a break halftime and came back in the 4th all the while keeping track on Yahoo sports. But go warriors! And whomever is expecting a streak after this win, I suggest waiting till after Sunday. Hopefully the Dubs and the 49ers are victorious.

when there was like 5 mins to go in the game… just had that feeling of a win the whole time…
Props to CJ
For taking and making those 2 jump shots. He has confidence. Plus he tracked down one def rebound being the smallest player on court.
Good move to take out morrow (who wasn’t shooting well and was being defended really well). CJ’s ability to get that mid range shot is pretty sweet, now if morrow can start doing that.
Turiaf played pretty well
His free throws, blocks, and spirit give the warriors a 5 hour energy drink
WE BELEIVE is still here as long as peterramos is alive!!

He mishandles the ball a bit, but he always seems to come through. I wonder how he will play in LA.

for the Warriors to beat the Celtics while being the Season Ticket Holder of the Game BABY!!!
What an experience! First, Franco Finn does his little interview w/ you on the jumbotron, then they tell you that if the game is close (w/ in 5 points) they’ll take you down to the tunnel at the end of the basket, and if the Warriors win (a big “if” against the defending NBA champs) they take you out onto the floor near the Warriors bench and wait for the media to select the Player of the Game who then signs a basketball for you and takes a pic w/ you too! SJAX was the player of the game of course! It was almost Belinelli, but SJAX made some big shots in the end!
Coming into the game I had no expectations of winning, so I had nothing really to lose being the Season Ticket Holder of the Game, but it definitely made the game that more exciting to watch! On top of the “W”, we got it against currently thee best team in the NBA! What a night! I’ll definitely cherish this as one of my all-time favorite Warriors games!
