There's no question that Nellie is a better evaluator of talent

than almost anyone who the Dubs have had in years, but I don’t think blind trust is a good thing. Nellie can be a stubborn dude and has an annoying tendency to give up on certain players (Barnes last year) while sticking with others (injury prone guard logging fifth highest minutes in the league last year). There’s no question he can do amazing things, but he also has a proven track record of self destructing. In Nellie we trust? More like, “E Unum, Pluribus.”

Atma, you are the ultimate spin-doctor. Sometimes I feel like I am reading a political blog where they never miss a chance to push the talking points and completely ignore any evidence or analysis that contradicts the party line. I totally agree about POB, but I find it hilarious that after that wonderful basketball game you had to throw out some pro-Nellie anti-Mullin propaganda. Is that really what you came away with last night? “POB sucks and so does Mullin for picking him! Nellie was right all along!” I’m actually surprised you didn’t find a way to bring up the J-Rich trade or Dunleavy’s contract extension.

In fact I’ve got an idea for you. After every game you should post the dollar amount that we payed Foyle to not be on our team that night next to an unflattering picture of Mullin. It could be a regular part of GSoM, just make sure to keep it in the FanShot section.

Anyway, Happy Holidays. Keep doin’ what you do. You are a big part of what makes this place fun, even if you drive me a little insane.

He’s trolling. He’s been doing it for a couple months now, and he’ll troll whoever tries to interject any kind of logic into the conversation. His work on the Bay Area hockey community was brilliance in its finest.
