Time for a movement!

I have been reading this site for the past couple of years but have never posted. Since the Warriors can't seem to find their souls right now, I thought it would be the right time to post something. Here we go.

The Warriors are lost and seem to be without a soul. So the best remedy for that would be first go to hell, then reincarnate. What I'm trying to say is: Tank this season and get high lottery pick ( I hate to see them lose too, but you have to lose some to get some). My eyes has been set on two superb point guards that are entering the the 2009 draft. (I don't know if it's ok or not to say their names here or am I suppose to be secretive. But who cares, they are no secret anyways.) They are Brandon Jennings and Ricky Rubio. Well, any one of these pgs can get the Warriors back on track to running and gunning and will provide us Warrior fan with plenty of hope. Superb ball-handling, excellent passing and the speed that can push the tempo even faster alongside monta/crawford. Some of you already have seen them play before. They will bring the soul back to this team and most possibly be All-Star type of PGs for years to come. So now let me present to you : " Tank the Season Movement!"

This FanPost is a submission from a member of the mighty Golden State of Mind community. While we're all here to throw up that W, these words do not necessarily reflect the views of the GSoM Crew. Still, chances are the preceding post is Unstoppable Baby!

sorry

but i am going to disagree with you on tanking the season and drafting a point guard. right now the most valuable player for us in the potential draft would have to be blake griffin. the last thing we need is more guards. i think crawford can do a decent job sharing the 1 with monta for now…

Yeah....

As much as I love Ricky Rubio, I have to agree with gorillas. BG looks like a boozer/beasley clone, and almost a sure thing.
I wish we could trade JC back, just so we can draft the Spanish sensation.

Or go ULTRA-small ball:
PG: Monta
PG: Ricky Rubio
SG: Jamal Crawford
SG: Stack Jax
C?: Maggs
CJ Watson, first off the bench, as back-up center????
Just kidding, but that’d surely create some match up problems (and a 5-77 team)

We already have a 5-77 team...

A lot of people around here sure think the answer to our woes will be to pair Monta in the backcourt with a guy who’s even weaker and easier to dominate than he is. Baron was a big, strong point guard, and even so, the Baron/Monta backcourt got used a lot. A Monta/Rubio backcourt would be downright comical… opposing guards could do whatever they wanted to us.

Drafting a guy like Ricky Rubio or Brandon Jennings would pretty much mean we have to trade Monta. Maybe those guys will be so good that it’d be worth doing, but believing so right now seems premature to me.

This roster is designed so that Monta essentially has to hang at the point for us. If he bombs and we need to draft a point, Monta won’t be long for this team.

OH MAN....

if for some slim chance we get Griffin, I will promise to attend Sunday mass again. Please let us get him!!!!!

I think we have had this Rubio talk b4. He is going to suck! Bellienellie 2.0!!!

A Griffin and a Bean in the front court.

That would be amazing.

Eveland rocks! Eveland rocks! Somewhere Drew Carey just smiled.

no way were gonna tank that low

griffin would go top 3 for sure. if anything we’ll get 9th pick.
