I’m expecting an off night for Jack, considering how hard Nellie rode him on Monday.
It’d be a good night for Wright to get some burn. I mean, most nights would be good nights for that, but nothing about the Thunder should make Nellie more prone to smallball than usual.

we lost this game because of nelson
straight up. turiaf didnt play, wright didnt play, randolph didnt play, kurz didnt play, no tall person played and thats why we lost. we were out-rebounded, couldnt play defense, and couldnt get in the paint because we were too short.

…flat out contemptible what Nelson did with Wright this game. It was just run-of-the-mill stubborness and failed philosophy for him to bench his best player for the whole second half, but then bringing him in to mop up for the last twenty seconds? That’s a wretched thing to do.

Has more substance than our team defense…Don Nelson wasn’t the one out there out of position getting boarded on..our team is so horribly poor on defense. we reach instead of moving our feet, we’re soft when it comes to taking charges, we don’t fight to rebound balls we watch them, when easy rebounds are there the warriors run close to their gold and blue buddies instead of spacing for long misses….time and time again….
Until there is a true commitment to change this, nothing, i say nothing will allow them to be a playoff team. Montay coming back won’t change this (sorry to squash those mighty mouse fantasies), a #1 draft pick won’t change it, and all these ridiculous trade scenarios on here wont change it..until to a man the warriors say enough is enough…it might help to change the current coaching philosophy too..
