Ouch. It hurts. Warriors, please make it stop. Please end the 9 game losing streak tonight against the Oklahoma City Thunder. This is after all, the WORST team in the league, but the Warriors seem to be challenging the Thunder for that title.
If the Warriors need any motivation (I have a hunch they do), they need to treat this games as personal. The Thunder stole our mascot's name and now we have no mascot. There's nobody to walk on their hands the full length of the court during timeouts. Nobody to breakdance with kids during breaks. No superhero to run in a circle carrying a sign to pump up the crowd. Nobody to do funny things with Franco Finn during the promos. And worst of all no inflatable Thunder. It's personal. Time to win.

Still haven’t gotten around to watching them yet. Not sure if I ever will.
I’ll actually be watching this game live though. I’m afraid these Warriors will look at that record, take it easy, and let them run us out of the building.

I don’t think its called being on the Bandwagon when you watch your coach use 7 people last year and run the starters into the ground, at which point we blew it at the most important juncture of the season and missed the playoffs because Nellie wouldn’t play Wright, Bellinelli, or anyone else earlier in the season who could have given us some minutes to rest the starters. Then, when its crystal clear that we are in a rebuilding year and Nelson had already committed to playing the youngsters, even giving them compliments, he goes and benches Wright, who has done nothing but play great. And by the way, squadmog, I hope you are joking when you say we are gonna make the playoffs. Im seriously concerned about us even beating the Thunder. And this is coming from an optimistic fan who thought we could have been 5th or 6th in the West this year.

the youngsters get some playing time. Give sjax/mags 20 mins to score and build a lead, and then yank em to allow the youngsters to play.
I don't think its a given that
with Jax and Maggette on the floor we will have the lead. Hasn’t worked too well for us lately…

if we bring maggs of the bench
and never have him in at the same time as capt’n jack…we could have a VERY solid rotation imo…but we should def trade maggs before ellis gets back, he’ll be useless once that happens
rather waste the money, by keeping him out of playing, and THEN have a better chance of winning

OKC Commentators...

i actually like maggs as a player
it’s just he needs to play within a system to utilize his strengths, which he has. Nellie gives his vets too much freedom and Maggs is all too happy to keep popping treys

We didn’t have mags/jackson, one player over 25. Ugly yes, but the youngsters are improving. BW is improving nicley, marco had a breakout game I think (6-7 shooting), cj played good (other than that inbounds play, blah).
Morrow didn’t shoot well, but hit crucial fts and rebounds.

another inbound mishap happened late in the game when AB threw an inbound pass to CJ into the backcourt that ended up being a turnover. SERIOUSLY?! Going into the timeout AB was holding out his hands like it wasn’t his fault. IT IS YOUR FAULT! Yes, you can say he is still young, but he has been in the league for like 5 years…. These mental mistakes with AB and everyone else on the team…sigh

-I like the idea of Ronny Turiaf as 3rd Captain. He’ll still be the same old guy, but this might give him more confidence and might help rub a defensive-frame-of-mind to the youngsters.

alright i understand we didnt have capt jack or ball hog mags but
oh my god how bad was that game. THERE THE FREAKIN OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER OUR BENCH SHOULD KILL THESE GUYS. nd the last 5 minutes of the 4th was jus disgusting. we almost blow the lead cuz of crappy mismatches on the court and badly designed plays by nelson. thank god morrow can shoot free throws. in a way i was kind of hoping we would lose this game so we could get a new coach (Avery Johnson or Sam Mitchell)
The plays were ok
The players screwed it up. Young team, what did you expect. We simply sucked at the 4th qtr, perhaps due to tiredness (beans looked tired).
