Good Pub for StackJax

Former SJ Mercury hoops writer Ric Bucher has put out some good pub on our favorite StackJax for ESPN Magazine. Its an interesting piece with some of Jack's history and highlights his determination, integrity, and real-life personality we all appreciate.

thanks for posting this. I read this today, and thought it was a great story. No one argues that Stephen hasn't had his share of trouble in the past, but aside from the brawl, I don't know how much of it was all his fault. Bad judgement yes, but just bad situation. He's been nothing but great since he's been here, so I can't complain. My favorite part of the article was that the girl would only give him a kiss if he had the mask on. That cracked me up. That and the word association. Sauce=Grey Goose. Classic.

Wow

What an article! Can we get one of these for every warrior? The whole breakdown at the end about his split-personality is genius.

Word! The reason I watch the dubs isn't because they win. It's because they have heart. They make the NBA real again.

This was a very good read, thanx for posting this...We don't call Capt. Jack a Warrior for nothing...It's like everyone on this team lives up to the name!

Glad its a hit....

Bucher has always written well, and this really is a great read. My favorite line:

"The hunched shoulders and tattooed arms, the splay-footed shuffle and a smile that borders on a sneer--not to mention the languid launch of a three in an opponent's grill and the high-risk, high-dribble crossover--radiate a get-off-me-chump 'tude."

In a sentence, he really captures Jack's game!

Good read

It is kind of funny how the good things that Jackson has done is never in the media. I had no idea what he has done in his old neighborhood. The media likes to portray only one side of the man. The truth is it is never that simple and this article made me a bigger Jackson fan.
