2 Dubs trades Bill Simmons would like to see

It's pretty interesting to see the trades he comes up with the for Dubs, both involve giving away Wright and have them getting back Artest and AK-47, plus you gotta love his reasons why the Warriors would do it. It would be nice to see AK in a Warriors jersey but it would wreak havoc on our salary cap situation but it would be one hell of a team. As much as I hate Mark Cuban I wouldn't mind having him as the owner, atleast we know he'd spend money the extra money for an amazing product, not that the Dubs aren't amazing right now but AK-47 puts them on another level.

Biggest pile of crap i ever read.

Simmons don't know what the hell he's talking about. No way Portland is trading LMA. No way Washington's trading Gilbert. There were so many bad, not thought out trades, that i had to just stop reading.

Why wouldn't Portland trade LMA if they're getting Conley and Mike Miller in return? I think they'd at least consider it. I mean, that trade looks a lot better than some of the trades that have actually happened this season.

my own trade

mark cuban for owner would be nice. oh yeah, i made a monster trade for bosh when i was bored

GS gets bosh, kapono (trade exception), d. miles
for Harrington, belinelli, wright,POB, croshere, pietrus
Portland gets belinelli, harrington, delfino, croshere, POB for
aldridge, miles
Toronto gets Wright, Aldridge, Pietrus for
Bosh, Kapono, Delfino

Warriors get Bosh who they can build in the future around with biedrins and Monta. They get a legit three point shooter.

Portland gets a ton of expiring contracts and another good outside shooter in harrington and they get rid of miles' horrid contract. Also, when oden comes back, that makes Aldridge expendable.

Toronto gets a future 17/8 guy in Aldridge. Since they already have so many good 3-shooters, kapono, and his not so good contract can be dumped. they also get wright who has huge upside

why would toronto do that? Trade a legitimate star and a good shooter for a pretty good player and some other guy that's played all of five minutes with "upside"?

so we get bosh for next to nothing? wright has upside, but c'mon. neither portland or toronto makes that deal.
-oden doesnt make aldrige expendable. aldrige is a 4 and he'll be great next to oden. Portland already has 2 harrington types in jones, and outlaw. and outlaw has much more upside. other than that they get a pile of crap. so they give up a 6'11" guy in his 2nd year who gets 17 and 8 now for a guy they already have 2 duplicates of and a pile of unprovens and crud?! no
-toronto downgrades from bosh to aldrige in order to get a rookie who has barely seen the floor? bosh can go for 40 any given night. aldrige is nice, but you cant build your team around him like you can bosh. you just dont trade young franchise players like that for pieces. would we trade monta to the sixers for louis williams and thaddeus young? no chance. and louis williams is probably closer to monta than aldrige is to bosh.
